And with that, I spilled everything. 

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark—" 

Before I could finish, she pressed a finger to my lips, then replaced it with a deep kiss. 

When she pulled away, her voice trembled with emotion. "Is it true? You can make me pregnant too?" 

I nodded. 

Her blue eyes locked onto mine, drawing me in. Then she hugged me tightly. 

"Every woman here wants to bear a child—it's one of the rarest honors, a privilege, proof of love." 

She leaned in, her breath warm against my ear as she whispered, "Make me pregnant too, Daidee…" 

Any other time, I would've taken her right then and there, ravaging her without restraint. But her words melted something in me, lifting the weight on my chest. 

I pulled her into a tight embrace. 

"When we return to the sect—to our home—let's start a family." Her voice held a quiet longing.
