"Why do you seem surprised?" Charles asked, his brows arching as he tilted his head slightly.

Without waiting for a response, Charles exhaled and glanced down at the cake and box of pizza.

He absentmindedly traced the edge of the pizza box before pushing it forward. "Umm… By the way, I don't have an appetite, so can you please take this to the refrigerator for me?"

Augustine hesitated for a second before nodding, reaching for the rose flower on the bed. "Of course," he murmured, his gaze lingering on Charles.

He carefully arranged everything he had bought for Charles, making sure each item was neatly placed before stepping out of the bedroom.

Upon arriving at the kitchen, he placed the edible items inside the refrigerator, ensuring they were properly stored.

His gaze then fell on the bouquet of roses, their petals still fresh and vibrant.
