Chapter - 155
—Three Months Later—
Jacob stood in the tailor shop, his hands on the polished wood counter. The air smelled of freshly spun cloth and leather, the place brimming with tailored coats, elegant dresses, and neatly arranged bolts of fabric. Behind the counter, the tailor—a middle-aged man with spectacles perched low on his nose—approached Jacob, holding a wrapped package.
"Ah, Mr. Jacob," the tailor said, placing the package on the counter. "This was... quite the challenge, I must admit. You certainly requested something out of the ordinary." He gently unfolded the paper, revealing a beautifully crafted cowboy hat, its wide brim and high crown an alien sight in this world.
Jacob smiled as his eyes fell on the familiar shape. "It looks perfect," he said, taking the hat in his hands, feeling the texture of the material, the curve of the brim just the way he liked it.
