Volume 3, Chapter 7: Lunch

Because two interlude chapters separated the story, allow me to say a few words for a summary of previous events.

The Lin Brothers and Xiao Xin had both been kidnapped, only to learn that the man behind the curtains was Mr. Lin. This old man is unlike others, very handsome and masculine, as well as domineering. Lin Zefeng is just like his carbon copy. Now Mr. Lin had Xiao Xin go take a bath, change clothes, and rest for a while, seemingly with something to say later.

"Mr. Lin was afraid you wouldn't find your way, so he particularly asked me to come and get you," he continued, with a smile on his face, as if the person who had flung hot and sour soup in his face was not me, his professional ethics exceptionally good.

"Which Mr. Lin?" There are three surnamed Lin in this house.
