In this world, there are people who are born to suffer. They have no home, no children, no relatives, and even die tragically at the end, just like Qin Xiangnuan, who carried her burdens alone. In her thirties, she is just a flower that bloomed only to wither in her declining years, and she also has nothing.
There are also those who are born to enjoy blessings, possessing wealth, beauty, a capable husband, and smart, beautiful children, yet they still take someone else's life, just like Qin Xiangmei. Though being biological sisters, she plotted against her sister from childhood until her death.
If it weren't for rebirth, Qin Xiangnuan would never have known that her half-sister, Qin Xiangmei, not only took away her father and her elder brother's life but also the only keepsake her mother had left for her, and even a tremendous opportunity.
I really like the Mc and how smart she was in finding a way to separate from her pest-like father 😌😌
New addition to my growing reading list. I initially thought of dropping this story because I am not a fan of the abuse that some of the characters had to endure. I don't even remember if the chapters had chapter warnings regarding domestic abuse/child abuse. Fortunately, our main female lead and her brother get a break around chapter 36. I'm on chapter 46 now and I'm rooting for the children's success. I hope the next chapters would veer from the typical abuse p*rn most of the novels in this app tend to go for. Can we just have conflict that doesn't necessarily lead to bodily harm or near death situations unless they're towards the horrible dad, step mom and step sis? Those characters I'd pay extra to have some story arc devoted to their life long suffering though. I might still drop then revisit it later but so far, it's good.
