"I don't care,"
Pei Yansi said coldly, "Even if you're pushed away, I still have the chance and means to drag you back."
In other words, she could never leave his side.
Shen Heyu fell silent.
She could never agree to his terms.
The events of six years ago had never been forgotten by her.
She maintained her distance from Pei Yansi, staying far enough away so that perhaps his presence might seem less significant.
Several hours later, the plane finally landed.
As soon as they got off the plane, Pei Yansi gripped Shen Heyu's hand tightly, as if scared she would escape with Lu Yi.
Lu Yi rose from his seat but stayed just outside their row and said, "Heyu, I'll go first. See you next time."
Hearing that, Pei Yansi turned to look at Shen Heyu with piercing eyes, keen to see how she would respond.
Shen Heyu smiled and said, "See you next time."
Lu Yi gave Pei Yan one final look before turning to leave.
Once he was gone, Pei Yan scoffed, "You still expect to see him again?"
