Pei Yansi had guessed correctly.
When Heyu's elevator stopped, she waited at the spot for a good ten minutes, then took the elevator back down to the lobby of the hotel.
She hailed a car from the roadside and hurried to the airport.
She couldn't stay here any longer; every additional day increased the risk of being caught by Pei Yansi. After all, that man was unpredictable, who knew if he would change his mind in a few minutes, or a few hours.
Shen Heyu booked a flight.
When she arrived at the airport, there was still an hour until departure. She first went through the regular security check, pulling her hat low over her face for fear of being recognized.
Finally, she went to the VIP lounge, originally waiting for the plane to take off, but not long after she sat down, she heard a familiar voice calling her.
"Heyu?"
It was Lu Yi's voice.
