The climb up **Mount Crimson** was arduous and foreboding. The uneven terrain, formed from the remains of an ancient meteor crash, was riddled with jagged red rocks and shimmering veins of ivon energy. Every step the group took was accompanied by the soft hum of energy pulsing through the ground, a subtle reminder of the mountain's deadly past.

"It's hard to believe something like this was created by a meteor," Natasha murmured, her golden eyes scanning the alien landscape.

Leon, leading the group, glanced back and nodded. "Not just any meteor. This one didn't just annihilate everything in its path; it absorbed the souls of the beasts it killed. That's why it emits so much energy. Creatures from miles around are drawn to it."

Jasper, walking near the rear, raised an eyebrow. "So this mountain is like a giant beast buffet? Great."

"It's more than that," Leon continued. "The energy here amplifies the strength of any creature that settles on the mountain. That's why it's one of the most dangerous obstacles on the way to **Phoenix Town**. And trust me, this is just the beginning."

Jessica adjusted her heavy blade on her back and sighed. "You could've mentioned that *before* we decided to climb it."

Alex, ever the joker, grinned. "Oh, come on. What's a little danger? Adds some spice to the journey."

"Spice?" Natasha shot him an annoyed glance. "We were nearly roasted by a two-headed dragon not even an hour ago, and you want spice?"

"Relax, Natasha." Alex smirked. "We handled it, didn't we? Besides, Leon did all the heavy lifting. We just provided moral support."

Leon rolled his eyes. "Moral support isn't shouting 'get him!' while hiding behind a rock, Alex."

Alex feigned offense, clutching his chest. "You wound me, fearless leader. I was *strategizing*."

Before Natasha could retort, Mr. John, walking at the very back, muttered, "Or whatever."

The group chuckled softly, their camaraderie momentarily easing the tension of their climb.

As they walked, Jasper retrieved the **Ali Template** that Leon had given him earlier. The orange parchment felt warm to the touch, faintly pulsing with energy.

Leon had explained that the template was a common tool used to catalog and analyze creatures. By focusing ivon energy and recalling the image of a creature, the template could reveal detailed stats and abilities.

"Let's see what this thing can do," Jasper muttered, pressing his finger to the center of the sheet. He focused on the memory of the **Twin-Headed Crimson Dragon** they had defeated earlier.

The parchment shimmered, and intricate thunder symbols spun across its surface before settling into a detailed image of the dragon. Below the image, glowing text appeared:

Jasper's eyes widened as he read the stats. "This thing was stronger than the **Xyrthen** I fought yesterday…" he muttered.

Natasha, walking beside him, leaned in curiously. "You fought a Xyrthen? Alone?"

Jasper nodded, still staring at the template. "Yeah. Barely made it out alive, but I managed to take it down. Compared to this dragon, though, the Xyrthen looks like a baby."

Natasha's eyes softened, a hint of admiration creeping into her expression. "You must be stronger than you look."

Jasper smirked. "I'll take that as a compliment."

Feeling her cheeks heat up, Natasha quickly turned away, pretending to focus on the trail ahead.

Alex, noticing the exchange, grinned mischievously. "Jasper, I think you've got a fan."

"Shut up, Alex," Natasha snapped, her voice a little too loud.

Leon turned and glared at them. "Keep your voices down! We don't want to attract attention."

Jessica nodded in agreement. "This mountain is crawling with creatures. The last thing we need is to alert them to our presence."

Just as the group was settling into a cautious silence, the ground beneath their feet began to tremble. At first, it was subtle, like the faint vibration of distant thunder. But it quickly grew into a violent quake that made the ground feel like it was alive.

Rocks tumbled from above, and a low rumble echoed through the air, growing louder with each passing second.

Jessica's eyes narrowed. "That's not an earthquake…"

Leon's voice was sharp and commanding. "Everyone, get ready!"

From every direction, monstrous creatures emerged. Giant lizard-spider hybrids skittered across the rocks, their sharp mandibles clicking ominously. Massive obsidian gorillas with silvery horns stomped toward the group, their glowing red eyes filled with rage. Humanoid beasts clad in crimson armor growled as they closed in, their claws gleaming like steel.

Leon ignited flames in his hands. "Spread out! Don't let them surround us!"

Jessica roared as she transformed into her **A-Form**, her body expanding into a towering green ape surrounded by fiery red and golden flames. The ground shook with every step she took, her sheer presence intimidating the oncoming horde.

A group of lizard-spider hybrids charged at her, but Jessica swung her massive fist, sending them flying like ragdolls. One hybrid leaped at her, shooting sharp webs from its mandibles. Jessica caught the web mid-air and yanked the creature toward her, slamming it into the ground with bone-crushing force.

Another hybrid attempted to flank her, but Jessica grabbed the lifeless body of the first creature and used it as a weapon, smashing through four enemies in one powerful strike.

The remaining hybrids surrounded her, their mandibles clicking furiously. Jessica let out a deafening roar, releasing a massive **ivon energy blast** from her mouth. The fiery green energy disintegrated several creatures on impact, leaving charred remains in its wa

Leon faced off against a humanoid tiger clad in crimson armor. The beast lunged at him with razor-sharp claws, but Leon dodged effortlessly, countering with a fiery kick that sent the tiger flying.

The tiger retaliated with a barrage of fire blasts, but Leon spun gracefully, avoiding each attack. With a burst of speed, he leaped into the air, driving his knee into the tiger's stomach. The impact created a crater in the ground.

As the tiger lay stunned, Leon raised his hand.

"**Scorching Sunblast!**" he shouted.

A concentrated wave of red and golden flames erupted from his palm, engulfing the tiger and reducing it to ashes.

Alex, busy shooting down enemies with his crimson arrows, failed to notice several creatures approaching him from behind.

"Guys? Uh, a little help here?" he called out nervously.

Before the creatures could strike, their heads fell from their bodies, cleanly sliced by invisible slashes.

Green energy slashes tore through the battlefield as Natasha moved with blinding speed, her golden sword gleaming. She appeared behind a towering beast and sliced it clean in half before disappearing again.

Her movements were so fast that she seemed to vanish and reappear across the battlefield, each strike precise and devastating.

Jasper faced the obsidian gorilla alone. The beast roared and lunged at him, its massive fists crashing down. Jasper dodged and countered with a flying kick to its chest, but the beast recovered quickly, slamming him into the ground.

Coughing up blood, Jasper struggled to stand as the gorilla loomed over him, raising its fist for a final blow.
