Family secret

Leaving the office, Drake went straight to the room. It was time to test the techniques they received.

As he followed the instructions in the manual, he felt his blood boil, as if his body was always destined for this path. The pain that followed was unbearable, as if each bone was broken and rebuilt countless times. But with each stroke of pain, he could feel his body shaping itself, getting stronger, more resistant.

"AHHHHHHH!!"

A deep, ancestral roar echoed through the walls of the castle. The people outside were perplexed, not understanding where that terrifying sound came from.

Drake struggled not to faint, standing firm until the end of the process. Gradually, the pain decreased, and his body began to cool down. Now, he felt at peace. The pains had weakened, and a new force filled him.

"I feel like I could fight for days..." He murmured, surprised by the power that ran through his veins.

He looked at himself in the mirror and was shocked by the transformation. With an impressive six feet and seven inches tall, his body was now pure strength. The defined muscles, the serious face, and an air of nobility that emanated from his presence. He was an imposing vision, someone that few would dare to challenge

"How am I going to explain this to others?" He thought, worried.

He dressed in black clothes and leather boots, prepared for the cold of the north, and went out to visit his troops.

FAMILY ARMY PAGE

• Soldiers: 120

• Archers: 40

• Primary Junior Knights: 4

• Intermediate Junior Knights: 2

The fortress, although small, was well structured. About two thousand inhabitants lived there, being the main workforce of the Page family. The houses, made of the black wood of the Eternal Forest, were robust and dark-looking. There was a small market that sold furs and other products, in addition to the barracks and stables.

"Three well-divided areas," Drake thought. "My ancestor was diligent in the construction of this fortress. The black wooden walls, four meters high, are difficult to transpose, even for experienced invaders."

Now that he had inspected the army, he knew that the next step would be to gather his family and share the truth. He needed to explain with caution what was to come. After all, who would easily accept that their family was the true heir of the continent?

Calling a family reunion, Drake started with a serious tone:

"Who I'm going to tell you now can't be revealed until we have enough power."

His presence filled the room, and an air of authority hovered as he spoke. Everyone understood that the subject was serious.

"Drake, stop messing around and tell me soon!" Your younger sister, Elara, complained, impatient.

"As everyone knows, each nobleman has a lineage in his blood." He looked at each one, his intense expression.

"Our lineage was lost over time, forgotten... But today, I recovered our heritage. And I need to share it with you."

The curious and anxious looks turned to Drake, who took a deep breath before continuing.

"We are the ancient dynasty of the Drakenmoor Empire. Our lineage is draconic, forgotten by history, but now resurfaced."

With these words, he manifested the essence of his lineage. His eyes became sharper, his overwhelming presence filled the room. Everyone was paralyzed with fear and surprise.

His uncle, unbeliever, began to tremble. "It can't be..."

"Let's honor our ancestors," Drake said firmly. "Our enemies are many, but with intelligence and strength, we will rebuild our family. I believe that, under my leadership, we will achieve the glory that was stolen from us."

The future of the Page family was in Drake's hands.
