  Chapter 3 Panel

A spot of white light appeared in the dark void.

  The white light rotates slowly.

If you draw the trajectory of its rotation, it should be a continuous circle that keeps expanding outward.

It's like a plate of mosquito coils that keeps growing.

During this process, sporadic, colorful points of light emerged from the edge of nothingness and merged into the rotating trajectory of the white light.

  Circle, circle, circle.

After who knows how many circles, Ronan opened his eyes.

At this moment, Ronan felt particularly energetic, as if he had had a good sleep and woke up feeling refreshed, his brain was particularly clear, and his thoughts were working abnormally fast.

  "Successful?"

Ronan's lips moved slightly, with an expression of uncontrollable joy on his face.

  It was indeed a success.

He had already sensed what was described in the "Basic Meditation Technique". It seemed as if there was a lively and transparent airflow in his brain. It was difficult to describe, but it really existed.

That is what is called mental power.

Being able to sense the existence of mental power proved that Ronan's first meditation was successful and he had officially entered the stage of meditation.

  "Thanks."

Ronan was in a good mood. He reached out and stroked the small words "Soul" on the bed, muttering softly.

The success of this meditation was "indispensable" to the line of small words under his hand. Ronan planned to find something to clean the dust and dirt accumulated in the indentations of the words tomorrow, and then look at it every day to alert and encourage himself.

Thinking of this, Ronan, who was about to get out of bed and pour a glass of water to moisten his throat, suddenly felt something flash quickly in front of his eyes.

It was like a bug suddenly got into my eye.

He blinked hard, trying to squeeze the thing out, but he didn't expect the light in the corner of his eye to suddenly twist a few times, and then a light blue light curtain jumped out.

  [Name: Ronan Damien]

  Age: 16

  [Talent: No attribute affinity]

  [Strength: First-level wizard apprentice (86%)]

  [Skill: Basic Meditation (Beginner 1/100)]

  "Well"

  Ronan was completely stunned.

He wondered if he was dazzled and rubbed his eyes hard, but the light screen in front of him did not move at all.

As a thought flashed through his mind, the light curtain disappeared immediately.

When the thought came back, the light curtain appeared again.

After repeating this several times, I realized that it was my own thoughts that were controlling me.

"Is this... the character panel in the game?!"

Was it the cheat code that came with his time travel, or was it that the game world he was in was actually very real?

Ronan thought about it and felt that the former guess was more reliable.

Or rather, he was more inclined to make the first guess.

Of course, no matter which possibility it is, the result is not important, because now he can't go back at all. What really matters is how to use the panel in front of him to survive here and make himself live a better life.

After being shocked, Ronan suppressed his inner joy and began to study the information displayed on the panel.

"It turns out that I have no attribute affinity."

According to the common sense about wizards left by the predecessor, attributeless affinity should mean that there is no benefit to practicing any system of wizard spells, and correspondingly, there is no obstacle.

This is actually not a good thing.

Because if Ronan is now affinity with fire energy, then it will be easier for him to practice fire spells than ordinary people, and the power of the fire spells he casts will also be enhanced.

Although learning other types of spells will be more difficult than normal people and the power will be smaller, this shortcoming can be avoided by choosing the right major in magic.

If you choose any spell class at Hoddam Wizard Academy, you can take a free attribute affinity and talent test. Unfortunately, after paying the tuition and buying four inherited wizard books, my predecessor had almost spent all his magic stones and had no money to sign up for spell classes.

As a result, Ronan only now became clear about his own attributes, affinity and talents.

It would be a lie to say I wasn't disappointed, but I couldn't choose to reopen, so I had to accept it.

The strength column on the panel shows Ronan's current realm, a first-level wizard apprentice. The 86% at the back should be the progress at the current realm.

Reality once again dealt Ronan a heavy blow. His predecessor had been in the wizarding land of Hoddam for nearly half a year.

Even though he had no one to guide him and had to rely on himself to figure things out, and it was difficult to get started, but after meditating for so long, his mental strength was still some distance away from the standard of a second-level wizard apprentice, which was enough to show that his talent was really mediocre.

"I heard that some talented wizards can increase their mental power to level two in a few weeks or even days after learning meditation.

It's really true that people get pissed off when compared to others."

When Ronan thought about the small words carved on the bed board again, he felt that the words were full of irony.

"With such a huge gap in innate talent, is acquired effort really useful?"

Ronan asked himself self-deprecatingly, inevitably feeling a little discouraged.

But when his eyes fell on the panel, he suddenly felt a little hopeful.

  "Perhaps."

It seems there is nothing good to see anymore.

It was a bare skill column, with only the basic meditation skill that he had just started learning included in it, and his proficiency was only a pitiful 1.

No wonder he couldn't feel the memories of his previous life when he tried to meditate before. It turned out that they were directly cleared after he traveled through time.

"Forget it, it doesn't matter, start from the beginning, from now on!"

"At least I am now a man with cheats. If I practice hard, everything will be possible!"

Ronan encouraged himself. Having just finished a meditation, he was full of energy and didn't want to sleep at all.

He simply stayed up all night to study, flipping through the remaining books while researching the golden finger that he had just awakened.

Before I knew it, the fireflies in the gauze bag that illuminated my head stopped flying and the faint light gradually dimmed.

  "twitter--"

The morning light and the singing of birds awaken the sleeping forest.

On the tall, dense old oak tree covered with tangled vines, the door of a gray cabin creaked open.

A young man in a gray robe walked out of the hut.

The boy was of medium build, with slightly curly chestnut hair. His eyelids and cheeks looked a little swollen, and he looked weak and fat, but he was in good spirits.

It was Ronan who came out to get some fresh air after staying up all night.

  "Oh--"

Ronan yawned and poured the urine jar he had been holding all night into the gap between the branches of the old oak tree.

Then he went back to the house, got another smaller clay pot, and began to collect the morning dew accumulated on the leaves.

In fact, Ronan was not that sleepy.

He studied wizard books all night, and when he felt sleepy, he went to bed to meditate. Although it couldn't completely replace sleep, it was much better than staying up all night.

Ronan always felt a tightness and dull pain in his chest   .

My hands and feet felt a little weak, and I almost fell off the tree while collecting morning dew.

He felt that his body seemed a little weaker than yesterday.

Maybe he was hungry because he didn't eat all night.

  Or maybe

there was something wrong with his body? !
