Jae-Hyun stood outside the audition room, clutching his script and trying to calm his nerves. Hae-Soo's words echoed in his mind: "Leave everything on the stage."
He took a deep breath and stepped inside.
The room was filled with aspiring actors, all vying for the same role. Jae-Hyun's confidence wavered, but he reminded himself of his promise to Hae-Soo.
"Jae-Hyun Kim," the receptionist called out.
Jae-Hyun walked into the audition room, where a panel of judges awaited. Director Min-Soo Kim, a renowned filmmaker, sat at the center.
"Please perform the scene on page 5," Director Min-Soo instructed.
Jae-Hyun nodded and began. The words flowed effortlessly, his emotions pouring into the character.
As he finished, Director Min-Soo nodded thoughtfully. "Thank you, Jae-Hyun. You have potential."
Jae-Hyun beamed with pride.
Just then, a young woman with striking features and piercing green eyes entered the room.
"Sorry I'm late," she said, flashing a dazzling smile. "I'm Ji-An, the lead actress."
Jae-Hyun's eyes locked onto Ji-An, and he felt an inexplicable connection.
"Welcome, Ji-An," Director Min-Soo said. "Let's run some scenes together, Jae-Hyun and Ji-An."
As they performed together, Jae-Hyun sensed a spark between them. Chemistry, or something more?
After the audition, Hae-Soo greeted Jae-Hyun with a thumbs-up. "You nailed it! Director Min-Soo is impressed."
Jae-Hyun grinned, feeling hopeful. "Thanks, Hae-Soo. I couldn't have done it without you."
As they walked out, Ji-An approached them. "Hey, Jae-Hyun. You're talented. I think we could make some magic happen on screen."
Jae-Hyun's heart skipped a beat. Was she hinting at something more?
