Trunks Saga 7

In an instant, months passed in a whirlwind of intense training and time dedicated to understanding Earth and emerging technology.

Vegeta spent the majority of his time honing his skills within the confines of the Gravity Chamber, pushing his limits further with each session. Though he had gained a significant boost in power, he had also taken the time to request access to the Dragon Radar from Bulma.

The interaction had been somewhat awkward, as her cheeks flushed a deep shade of crimson every time she tried to meet his gaze. Despite the tension in the air, she managed to present him with the device before hurriedly rushing out, her heart racing.

It took some time, but Vegeta eventually figured out how to operate the Dragon Radar, leading him on a journey across Earth as he familiarized himself with its landscapes and inhabitants. He traversed cities and mountains, gathering the seven Dragon Balls while recalling the words necessary to summon the dragon, a piece of information he had thoughtfully extracted from Bulma during their earlier conversations.

Now, as he stood in the clearing, the sky darkened ominously above him. Lightning crackled and danced across the heavens, illuminating the charged atmosphere as the Eternal Dragon began to materialize before him, its majestic form shimmering with otherworldly energy.

"You have summoned me; state your wish," boomed the dragon, its voice echoing like thunder through the clearing.

Vegeta stood resolute, his mind racing with possibilities. "I doubt wishing for immortality would be the wisest choice. Such a power could lead to unforeseen complications down the line," he mused, the weight of his thoughts evident on his brow.

"Though the healing abilities of a Namekian could greatly enhance my potential," he continued, contemplating the advantages. "Such powers would allow me to fully exploit my natural Zenkai Boost and grant me the ability to regrow limbs, even enabling me to survive fatal attacks that would otherwise spell my end."

With a steely gaze directed toward the Eternal Dragon, Vegeta prepared to voice his desire. Just then, a moment of clarity struck him, and a small, sly grin crossed his face, revealing his cunning nature.

"DRAGON, I wish to be bestowed with all the inherent abilities of the Namekian race while also preserving all the natural traits of my lineage!" he proclaimed, his tone resonating with determination.

"So it shall be; wish granted," the dragon intoned, its eyes glowing with a brilliant light that illuminated the darkened sky. In an instant, the dragon began to dissolve into shimmering particles, the seven Dragon Balls floating in the air before dispersing and heading off in random directions, their power released into the world once more.

Vegeta smiled in success, a glimmer of triumph shining in his eyes, before aiming his hands outward. To his astonishment, his arms began to elongate, stretching almost unnaturally like the limbs of a creature adapting to its environment.

A triumphant grin spread across his face before he plunged his hand into his abdomen, crimson liquid gushing forth and coating his arm as bulging eyes, struggled to draw in precious air. With a final gasp, he crumpled to the ground.

Time ticked by, fifteen minutes slipping silently past before he regained his footing. The fabric of his clothes had been breached, stained with the telltale red of life force spilled upon them, yet as he lifted his gaze to inspect the damage wrought upon him, no trace remained – the wound having mended itself seamlessly.

"This is remarkable," Vegeta mused aloud, "though questions may indeed arise should the Z-Fighters bear witness to these new abilities without any explanation." Uttering this, he ascended into the sky and set off towards Capsule Corp., eager to fully explore the potential of these freshly acquired healing capabilities.
