EDWINA 

My legs were frozen to the floor of Harriet's living room, my eyes stinging with the weight of what I had just seen.

I could not stop staring at those images Orion gave to me. The way the woman hands was wrapped around him, her body lax in his arms, the position was too familiar. Intimate.

A knot twisted in my stomach as I stared at it, my pulse quickening.

I needed no words, no explanation or context to interpret what I was seeing. It was clear enough. 

Kieran was seeing another woman. 

The weight of the realisation pressed down on me, suffocating. How could I have been so trusting? All these while, I had let my guard down. I gave him totally access to my heart, my life. 

I trusted him. I believed his words.
