EDWINA
I watched Kieran leave, anger still burning inside of me. Juliette rushed over from the restroom, late to the drama.
Her eyes flitted between me and Orion, who was pressing a soaked handkerchief to his broken nose.
"What is he doing here?" she snapped in Orion's direction. The disgust in her voice was evident, and I wondered why she reacted that way. Deciding to take that up with her later, I turned back to Orion.
"What happened?" she asked again, but I was too busy trying to help Orion out of the hall without making a mess to answer.
"Come on, let's get you to the hospital," I said as soon as we stepped into the night.
He shook his head. "No, no. It's alright. I think I'll just go home and tend to it myself."
My brows furrowed with concern.
"Are you sure? It looks severe," I stated.
"Trust me. It looks worse than it feels. Thank you," he insisted.
