KIERAN
Edwina's yell woke me up.
I jumped out of bed, scared that something terrible had happen. She was still screaming, and my heart pounded in my chest as I ran towards the direction of her voice.
She was in the middle of the living room, her hands wrapped around her stomach, her ass planted on the floor.
The sound of the movie Noah was watching yesterday floated into my ears, but I paid no heed to it.
Rushing over to my wife's side, I crouched down and held her hands.
"Edwina. Love. What happened? Is the baby coming?" I asked, worried. Tears slid down her face in torrents, and she seemed to be having troubles breathing.
"Noah…Noah…" she panted.
"Noah must be sleeping already, love. It's way past midnight. Do you need him to do anything? I will do it for you."
