CIARA
Truth be told, I was nervous as hell.
Well, had been.
As Noah's jet moved farther and farther away from LA, I had felt the cold hand of panic wrap itself around me.
This was the first time I would be away from my family for a long stretch of time. It made me feel…weird, and I only took consolation in the fact that they would be flying here in a few days to discuss the wedding preparations.
Seeing Harriet had made me feel relaxed a little bit, and when Noah excused himself, I didn't really care.
As long as Harriet was with me, I would be fine.
And my best friend would have stayed with me for as long as I needed, if she hadn't received an emergency call that required her to leave.
I was left alone.
And my panic started to grow. I didn't know what to do, and I wasn't about to text my family and tell them that this big house — way bigger than my family's estate because Noah was a vain man — was scary.
