"Well, someone is in a good mood today," Luke teased as he walked into my office.

I shook my head with an indulgent smile, my focus on the papers before me.

I had been having a lot of good days recently. I think it had to do with the moments I've been spending with Ciara.

The bakery had brought us together, and I liked the way things were going. It made me feel so…filled with warmth. I loved it.

I rubbed the bridge of my nose.
