Chapter 386: Strongest Giant Lineup (Bonus Chapter)

"Whooosh—"

In the sky above—

A massive, oppressive warship loomed, darkening the air around it.

Standing at the ship's spacious prow, a winged figure—his wings black as night, flames dancing behind his head—towered a full twenty meters tall. This was Thor, wearing a cobalt-blue battlesuit with a lightning-marked cape, a fearsome "Hammer of Thunder" strapped to his back, exuding an intimidating aura.

His gaze fell upon the naval fleet arrayed before him—blocking their advance by freezing the sea. A faintly mischievous look crept over his face. Turning back, he flashed a smile at Gerd:

"Heh, Mom… they've set up the perfect battlefield for us."

"Gahaha, you brat—impatient, aren't you, Thor…?"

Hajrudin raised both arms, laughing heartily.

"Then let's give these Marines a taste of what we can do!"

Clad in a stylish, bluish battlesuit, the youthful and spirited Sif lifted her chin like a proud swan. Her longsword hung at her waist, and she stared out over the frozen sea at the lead ships with blazing fighting spirit.

"Don't get careless, kids…"

The beautiful and formidable giantess Gerd—also dressed in ornate combat attire, leaning on her scythe "Bloodstained Crescent Scythe" (which sported a personified expression)—smiled warmly and said:

"If Monkey D. Garp wasn't so stubborn about refusing the Admiral's seat, then we'd be up against the strongest trio of Admirals the Navy has ever fielded."

Gathered around Gerd floated Thundercloud Zeus, Thundercloud Hera, and Sun Prometheus. Indeed, anticipating a tough fight, she had borrowed Hera from Linlin to reinforce her Homies. Since the sea-homie Umibōzu was countered by Black Arm Zephyr's Freeze-Freeze Fruit, Gerd left it behind.

"So what?"

Sif happily hugged Gerd, eyes alight with confidence.

"They'll be facing the strongest mother-daughter pair of giants in all history!"

"Heh heh, Sif, get it right: we're the strongest mother-and-son giant combo!"

Thor scowled at his sister, the dragon-phoenix twin.

"As for you, you're just tagging along!"

"Thor, you jerk, you wanna fight?"

Sif's eyes flared, the turquoise-blue flames behind her head burning brighter.

"Okay, you two, knock it off…"

Gerd's face twitched a little, cutting off her bickering children. She sighed and cast a sharp look at them:

"Don't forget that Hajrudin and the Ace brothers are here, too!"

"Gahahaha, that likely makes us the mightiest giant line-up ever!"

Hajrudin bellowed in his deep voice, grinning.

"That's right, Hajrudin…"

"Roar… Indeed, it's been ages since we've seen such a grand occasion!"

With a buffeting gust of wind, two huge silhouettes descended. Transforming back from their ancient pteranodon forms into their human shapes, they turned out to be the Ace brothers—both now more mature, sporting short beards but still youthful by giant standards. They had long since surpassed Dorry and Brogy, the two Giant Warrior Pirate leaders.

"Hee-hee, a pity we didn't bring Eden, Frey, or Aunt Helen and Uncle Oars along…"

Sif remarked with a laugh:

"Then it really would have been the strongest ensemble of giants ever!"

After all, if you added the sixth child Eden, the seventh child Frey—both also giant-blooded—plus the ancient giant "Little Oars" among the Eight Guardians, and the "cloud giant" Helen (a Logia Cloud-Cloud Fruit user whose strength now rivaled Hajrudin's after years of harsh training), you'd indeed have the ultimate giant line-up. As for Witt, Lonz, Jaguar D. Saul, Lacroix, and Sanjuan Wolf, though all giant Devil Fruit users, their strength was somewhat behind Hajrudin and the Ace brothers. Nevertheless, if all the giant warriors of the Fallen Angel Pirates joined forces and unleashed Elbaf Spear: Hakoku (Conqueror's), its power would be terrifying.

"True enough!"

Thor actually nodded in agreement, sharing Sif's regret.

"We're already here, and a prolonged standoff would be dull… Let's give them a nice hello!"

Narrowing his eyes, he lifted his right hand.

"Crackle… crack…"

In an instant, accompanied by a harsh, high-pitched crackle, blazing arcs of electricity flared with dazzling intensity. It was as though the sun were overshadowed; the brilliance was too fierce to gaze upon. Yet thanks to Thor's incredibly refined control—honed under El's teachings and years of relentless training—the fierce voltage did not spread across the warship's steel deck or shock Gerd, Hajrudin, or the Gates brothers.

"Divine Judgment!!"

Concentrating the full power of his "mantra" to lock onto his faraway target, Thor's wrist abruptly turned into lightning, erupting into the sky—and then vanished.

Almost immediately, on the distant ice, Fleet Admiral Sengoku—who had just finished talking with Steel-Bone Kong—felt his hair stand on end.

"What's that?"

"The sky…"

"What's going on?"

"Heh, you gotta be kidding!"

And not only Sengoku—Garp, Zephyr, and many Marines jerked their heads upward, pupils shrinking. They saw an immense bolt of lightning blaze out, flooding the entire sky with a blinding whiteness that no one could look at directly.

"Crackle… crackle…"

With no warning—like God's thunderous wrath raining down—a monstrous pillar of lightning of terrifying diameter abruptly slammed from the heavens. Amid the Marines' stunned horror, it crashed straight toward Sengoku's flagship, unstoppable in power.

"Don't get cocky!!"

At that instant, golden light radiated, chanting of Buddha echoed. From the warship enveloped by the massive lightning beam, an enormous golden Buddha form surged upward—palms flaring with luminous auras—meeting the thunder head-on.

"Buddha Impact!!"

A colossal shockwave roared skyward, colliding violently with the descending pillar of lightning.

"Boom… boom…"
