Journey To The Center 14

Later that day, Shery led him to the most expensive hotel in the city—The Orion.

It stood a hundred stories tall. The first floor alone stretched three stories high.

This was where the rich and powerful from across universe came to stay.

And here, Asher would spend his days before leaving through the Hyperion Teleporter.

The lobby felt more like a museum than a hotel—quiet, spotless, and lined with soft lights that shimmered off the marble floor.

As they stepped up, a woman at the center desk looked up.

"Identification, please."

Asher reached into his pocket, but Shery leaned in close, brushing past him just slightly. Her voice dropped to a whisper near his ear.
