Grand continued to explain quickly, ‘Boss, knowing that Mira had just recovered, I was worried that our guys might hurt her, that’s why they were able to get away. Besides, didn't you say as long as she's within our borders, we wouldn't interfere with her?’


I rubbed my temples. Mira had promised not to go after Natalie, so why did she do it? Out of spite or…

Northwest, that was the direction to Snow Mountain. If Mira was after Natalie for revenge or something, there was no need for her to take Natalie out of the borders. This had to be Jane's doing, pulling Mira into this mess in order to send Natalie back to her pack.  So Mira did all this to save Natalie? 


How could she be so soft-hearted, even after everything Natalie had done to her? I let out a sigh. She was just too forgiving for her own good.
