Chapter 4 Whose Child

But now Elizabeth Taylor had nowhere to go without going back to the hospital. Her ex-husband was still after her!

But she looked at Anna and asked, "Don't you love him anymore?"

Anna didn't answer, her eyes looking out the window.

But to Elizabeth, it was a definite "no."

Was she having an affair?

...

The lawyer's office.

Anna made a will.

After her death, all the shares, property and money of Annan would belong to Soros. And no one from Anna's family would be allowed to interfere in any way.

Matthew Colin looked at the beautiful young woman in front of him. He was a little confused, but he didn't ask more questions.

When all the formalities were done, he walked the woman to the door.

Suddenly, Anna took his arm. She looked miserable right now.

"Mr. Colin, I'm sorry. I'm a little dizzy."

With that, her entire body collapsed right onto the floor.

Matthew Colin quickly lifted her.

"What's wrong?"

"Maybe, maybe it's low blood sugar." She hadn't eaten since she got up.

"Can I carry you to the car?" Colin offered.

Anna didn't say no, "Thanks."

After he carried the woman to the car, he stopped at a nearby convenience store to buy some milk and bread.

Colin said politely, "Eat some on the way and take care of yourself."

Anna said thank you.

The car drove off.

Colin turned around and went back to his office.

There was a faint click in the darkness. Matthew couldn't help but cringe.

When Matthew chased after the man, the man had already escaped.

After that, he called Anna and told her to be careful.

However, she didn't take Collin's words seriously.

When she got home, she packed up the chicken soup that had been cooking in the kitchen for a long time and went straight to the hospital.

There she took a stack of papers with her.

...

Hospital room.

Soros was holding a stack of photographs.

The main figures were Matthew Colin and Anna.

The two were in intimate positions on the photo, talking and laughing.

Elizabeth added, "I didn't realize that Anna betrayed you a long time ago and that her lover was a lawyer."

She worried that Anna would take most of Soros's fortune.

Soros narrowed his eyes and stared at Anna in the photograph with a wave of anger that no one dared approach.

Elizabeth raised her eyebrows gently, "No wonder she approached me and said those things. I wondered why she gave me the money and said she wanted us to be together. Someone who likes profits like her would never make a deal that loses money. She must have planned how to get you out."

"Bang."

Soros threw the pile of photos into the trash.

Elizabeth was shocked when Anna arrived.

She was still holding a bottle of chicken soup.

Elizabeth was wise enough to tell her, "You guys talk, I'll go first."

When they were alone in the hospital room.

"Soros, I made you soup ......."

Before Anna could finish her words, Soros interjected.

"What's your relationship with that lawyer?"

Anna followed his line of sight and noticed the picture in the trash can.

She lowered her head, opened the bottle, brought up a bowl of soup, and handed it to Soros.

"Eat it. It's good for your health."

Soros waved his hand and pushed the soup away, grabbing the woman's wrist and dragging her roughly to the bed.

"Anna, I'm asking you a question."

The woman grew boneless beneath him, her eyes like puddles of spring water.

She inhaled softly and the papers in her bag fell out at that moment.

Soros saw the papers.

His handsome face darkened.

It was a pregnancy report, documenting that Anna was over a month pregnant.

"The baby, whose is it?" He asked through clenched teeth.

Anna was initially startled.

A baby could cause a lot of trouble.

So, she answered carelessly, "It's not yours."
