Chapter 87: An Easy Part

The young men emerged from the portal into an environment shrouded in dense fog, obscuring almost everything around them. The air was heavy and humid, and a sense of unease began to spread among them. Shadows lurked in the distance, but it was impossible to determine whether they were trees, rocks, or something more dangerous.

Nilla frowned as she released a wisp of her energy to probe the surrounding area.

"What an unpleasant place," she muttered disdainfully. "I can't sense anything other than this suffocating fog."

One of the young men from the Knight Kingdom, wearing shining silver armor, replied firmly,

"If we can't see it, it's probably a test of perception. Stay alert, everyone."

Aphir, Jhin, and Alrik were also present, moving cautiously.

Jhin was scanning the area with his "Eyes of Heavenly Fire," which glowed faintly in the fog.

"This is no ordinary fog," he commented. "It seems to be alive, as if it reacts to movement."
