Chapter 100: Lacus vs. Marcos

The arena was filled with a fierce, cutting wind, Marcos' signature. His cloak floated like an extension of the air around him, while his eyes glowed with predatory intensity. He was an agile warrior, moving like a shadow carried by the wind.

On the other side, Lacus stood firm. The wind ruffled her hair, but she showed no hesitation. She knew she was facing an opponent whose mastery of the element rivaled her own.

Marcos was the first to attack. With a flick of his hand, he summoned blades of wind that cut through the air with deadly precision. Lacus dodged, spinning gracefully as she summoned her own wind current to deflect the attacks.

"Can you match my speed?" Marcos taunted, disappearing in a blur.

Before Lacus could respond, he appeared behind her, delivering a blow that sent her crashing to the ground. The ground gave way under the impact, but Lacus quickly rolled to the side, avoiding a cyclone that Marcos summoned where she had fallen.
