Orion and the Primordial System

Nilla advanced, disappearing in a burst of light and reappearing at an unexpected angle, already delivering a sideways slash with her blade, which now shone with a golden light.

The blade cut through the air with precision, releasing a wave of concentrated electrical energy. The blow crossed space in the blink of an eye, heading straight for the creature's chest.

The creature, however, reacted in an instant, crossing its arms to form a shield of lightning. The impact generated an explosion of energy, pushing both combatants back, but neither gave ground.

"You fight well," the creature said, its voice echoing like the sound of a distant storm. "But you cannot defeat me."

With a quick movement, the creature raised its hands, attracting lightning from the ceiling and walls of the corridor, condensing them into a sphere of pure energy.
