TO WIPE HER TEARS

Ares was confused on what to do next. He didn't know if he was supposed to comfort Angel.

He had intentionally withdrawn from her, because he was still nursing a bruised ego.

But her tears were getting even more hysterical, and he had to do something about it.

Surrendering himself to his impulses, he walked over to her, and grabbed her hand from underneath her head.

Before she could make sense of what was happening, he pulled her up, and dragged her along with him.

"Stop it. What are you doing?!" She queried through thick tears.

He didn't respond to her. Instead, he walked out of the door, still dragging her with him.

Walking through the hallways, he kept his firm grip on her, ignoring her complaints..

"You're hurting my hand," she said, when he ignored all of her other questions.

She expected him to let go, but instead, his grip only loosened a little.

"You're being mean to me. Why are you being mean to me?"
