LIQUID LIES

The boys moved away to do the dishes, and the princess quickly took that opportunity to chat with Angel.

"You thought about someone, didn't you? Because I could tell your appetite opened right up. Tell me who it was. Ares?" she asked in a voice dizzy with excitement.

"Ares?" Angel lifted a confused brow. "Why would I think of Ares? You do know I have a fiance right?" She lied so smoothly, for a second there, she almost believed her lies.

The excited smile on the princess' face instantly wiped off.

"You have a fiance? Well whoever he is, he cannot be compared to Ares, I'm sorry. I know I don't know the person, but do you see that man?" she pointed discreetly.

Angel knew she didn't need to look. His image was forever branded in her brain.

Haunting her, pulling her towards the cliff of madness, and stopping just before she could fall off.

"It doesn't matter. I'm loyal to David, okay?" She continued in the path of lies.
