Ares gave it a few seconds, before rising to his feet, and going after Ava.
"See that?" Vivian finally spoke again after he left. "He's always going to choose her. Not you, but her," she said in a taunting voice.
Angel held her tongue, as she took her gaze away from Vivian's smug face.
Just when she thought she had an understanding with Ares, he had to do this to her.
"It's okay though," she said inwardly.
She understood Ava wasn't magically going to be invisible to him.
They still shared a history, so she didn't have a lot of rights to be possessive.
"I think that's enough. She gets the point by now. You're the scary one. Give it a rest," the princess hissed, and rose to her feet.
"Where are you headed?" Xander asked her, much to her surprise.
"Away of course. I can't stand one more second in her presence."
"Yeah, I'll come with you too," Angel said, rising to her feet.
