"Angel?" He released his hold on her. "Why are you here?"
"I saw this big guy— he brought me– why are you trying to hurt me?" She rambled.
"No one just comes into my room this early in the day without knocking or calling. I'm on edge, okay?"
"Is that the gangster way of saying you're scared?" She teased.
His eyes darkened as he wrapped a hand around her waist, and pulled her into his body.
The mischief in her eyes died, and was replaced by heat.
"Don't test my patience," he warned, breathing down on her.
"Sorry." She bit her lips.
"Don't do that either. I told you to wait for me in my room, why didn't you?"
"I—" she suddenly couldn't think of any excuse.
"Cat got your tongue?" He chuckled, as he stretched out a hand to shut the door.
Right after, he returned the hand to her waist.
"Why are you here, Angel?"
