ALL A's

Angel's heart drummed loudly in her ears, as Ares dragged her across the halls of Kolasi.

"Ares, I can explain. I was just trying to help. It's not what you think. I mean I don't exactly know what you think, but if you'd just talk to me, or at the very least, give me a chance to explain!"

He didn't respond to her, neither did he even acknowledge the fact she had said anything.

With his jaw, and forehead set in a hard line, he pulled her along with him.

"Ares, can you hear me? You're hurting my hand. Please don't hurt me," she tried a more manipulative approach, but he still didn't budge.

Ares reached into his pocket with his free hand, and grabbed a phone.

Her ears opened, when she saw he was about to make a call.

"Hey, tell Athena I changed my mind about attending the meeting. Meet me in the empty room upstairs in thirty. Seconds I mean," he added, as he dragged her through a turn.
