Angel woke up early to sew, but realized she was too distracted to come up with anything reasonable.
Tossing the fabrics to the side, she rose to her feet, and tiptoed out of the room, so as not to wake Nadia up.
Last night, she had waited up a while in hopes that when Ares returned, he would come for her like he had promised.
However, after waiting for a long time without his return, she fell asleep.
She didn't know why she bothered because like usual, it had been a restless sleep.
"Are you headed somewhere?" She heard a voice behind her, as she stepped into the halls of Kolasi.
She stopped, and turned to see Xander staring at her.
Her eyes lowered to his hand, and she saw they were still bandaged.
"Does it still hurt?" She asked.
He looked down, and shrugged dismissively. "It never hurts. We're shot all the time, Angel," he bragged.
"The things you gangsters brag about." She shook her head.
