SECOND THOUGHT

The sound of a blasting alarm woke Angel up, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Ares with a towel dangling around his waist, going to turn it off.

"Hello baby," he turned to her. "Good morning."

"Is it time already?" She asked amidst a yawn.

"Yep."

"Okay."

Half an hour later, Ares led Angel out of the halls of Kolasi, and into the large field.

"Are you sure it's okay I'm wearing shorts?" She asked.

"Athena and Luciana picked it out, so it must be okay, I guess." He shrugged.

Her face creased, wondering why he couldn't just tell her if she looked good or not.

She started to hear a sound, and as she squinted, she saw the hanger where the jet was.

"Wow!" She blurted, the closer they got to it.

"Why do you look so impressed? Haven't you been in one before?"

"Oh I have. It's just been a while," she answered.

Her intrigue was not reserved solely for the private jet.
