A MONSTER

Ares' shoulders slouched in defeat, as he bent his head.

He couldn't think. The only thing he did was focus on breathing one at a time.

Anything other than that, and he didn't trust himself not to go crazy.

"How do you not feel any form of sadness over the death of your own daughter? It even feels like you're relieved. What kind of monster are you, Hades?" Nadia asked, when she noticed that Ares had gone silent.

She could feel that he was hurt. It was just like when he was a child.

Ares had never been a big reaction kind of guy.

Only a few times would you ever see him overreacting.

But when he was silent, and slouched like this, it meant he was totally defeated.

"You can't speak on my dynamic with my own child. Your son was the one that took her on that damn jet. He killed my child! If I was even going to forgive him before, that is certainly not happening now."
