Marina laughed as she communicated the orders for table twelve.
"You seem different," she said.
Ruby scoffed. "You're the one to talk. I still can't believe you changed the color and texture of your hair."
"Does it look that bad?" Worried lines appeared on her face, as she asked.
Ruby scoffed again. "Don't even try it. You know even if you wear a clown mask, it is impossible for you to look bad. You're so beautiful. No wonder the other girls are so envious of you."
She laughed playfully. "I doubt they envy me. Even if they do, it's because they don't know my predicament yet. Anyway, it's looking like we'll have a full night. Papa Manuel and Beatrice would be so happy," she said excitedly, picking up the tray Pablo the cook had set.
