FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Ares watched fiercely as Ivar led Marina out of the room.

His thoughts only returned to base when he felt Chloe's hand rubbing his thighs.

Outside, Ivar couldn't believe he was walking alongside an Angel lookalike.

He kept on looking at her, until his mind was close to exploding.

"You can't keep looking at me if you're not even going to say anything," she smiled.

"Truthfully, I don't know what to say," he replied dazedly.

"You could tell me why the halls are so dimly lit. What are you all afraid of?"

"Nothing. No one here is afraid of anything," he said confidently.

"Nonsense," she chortled. "Everyone is afraid of something. Poverty, death, the Boogeyman, love. Everyone has something they fear."

Ivar went silent again as he continued to study her.

In the process of looking, he almost missed the turn.

"Isn't that where Ruby, me, and that guy just came from?" She stopped, as he went ahead.
