Cynthia noticed the slight awkwardness on Bonnie's face. She turned her head nonchalantly to look at the woman who had spoken. The woman had long, slightly wavy hair, exuding a seductive and alluring aura. Her eyes were bold and arrogant, as if she believed she was above everyone else.
Cynthia furrowed her brows slightly. She had watched the news programs over the past few days and recognized the woman as Anna, a popular anchor in the News Department. On TV, she appeared fresh and sweet, but Cynthia was surprised to see how sharp and mean she could be in person.
As Cynthia scrutinized her, the woman met her gaze without fear, even seeming to provoke her. She smiled faintly and continued with her biting remarks,
"Bonnie, don't think just because you have some connection with Boston Station that you can act however you want. There are plenty of beauties in our station who have ties to Boston, but none of them are like you, always late and absent!"
