Chapter 134: Struggle of a Trapped Beast.

"The black panther is outside!" Jess shouted.

Hearing this, the bare-chested man immediately climbed onto the window and looked out. Jess also stuck his head out of the window and looked up.

In the dense rain pouring down, a figure emerged halfway from a window above and was engaged in a fierce brawl with a larger shadow!

They roared wildly, but this sound was interfered by the storm, the sound of waves and the rain. Inside the ship, it was completely mixed with the creaking operating noises of the entire ship. Only by sticking one's head out of the window could one barely hear it!

"It's the one with the ponytail!" the bare-chested man shouted.

"You block it here! I'll go up and deal with it!" Without waiting for the others' consent, Gerred dashed up the stairs. The woman cursed under her breath and followed Gerred up. The bare-chested man changed to several windows closer to where the ponytail man was fighting and extended the harpoon, trying to stab the leopard from below.

Jess watched from here, aiming at that blurry shadow. Just as he was about to recite the Weakness Curse, the ponytail man was suddenly punched into the cabin by the black panther.

"Damn!"

He cursed and immediately retracted into the cabin and ran up the stairs. While climbing, he murmured the spell to strengthen his memory and rushed up to the upper level in three steps at a time. Just as he arrived, he heard Gerred roaring.

"You yellow-eyed beast! Ah!"

A wild roar from the beast came from the next room, shaking Jess deep down.

Entering the passenger cabin, he saw Gerred smashing the black panther's shoulder with his shield. The sharp end of the shield was extremely powerful. With Gerred's strength, if it hit a person's face directly, it might smash the skull on the spot.

But the black panther just let out a wail and bent its body. It then slammed its entire body against the cabin wall. Gerred quickly jumped off its back and fell to the ground. If he didn't jump, he would be crushed.

"Look over here!" The woman held a stick and aimed it at the black panther. The black panther turned to look at her, let out a roar and lunged forward. The woman wanted to thrust the stick forward, but it was pushed aside by one of its paws. Another continuously swinging paw directly slapped her on the waist... The woman let out a miserable cry and fell sideways. Gritting her teeth, she raised the stick to resist the black panther's biting. The black panther was about to bite through the stick in a frenzy. But suddenly it noticed Jess who had just rushed in.

Jess took a good look at the black panther's strange yellow eyes. Although this creature is called a panther, its body size is comparable to that of a majestic Siberian tiger. Not only is its whole body muscular, but it is also obviously much more flexible. It moves back and forth like a civet cat. Its owner must have spent a lot of money to feed and train it.

Jess was about to recite the Weakness Curse when the black panther let go of the woman and moved aside. It stretched out its paw and quickly slapped a jar on the nearby box.

The jar flew straight towards Jess's head. A hand grabbed his shoulder and pulled him to the side to avoid the jar. The bare-chested man rushed up to help him avoid this throw. Otherwise, his head would be smashed open.

This black panther clearly has experience in dealing with mages. When it sees someone chanting a spell, it attacks them first.

The black panther took aim at Jess and was about to pounce. Suddenly, Gerred jumped onto its back, held up the shield high, preparing to deliver a heavy blow to its spine. But the black panther shook its body and knocked Gerred to the ground. When the black panther turned to bite his neck, Gerred raised the shield to block it. The black panther bit the edge of the shield and with a swing of its neck, it threw the nearly two-hundred-pound dwarf warrior flying towards the two people here!

Jess nimbly dodged to the side. The bare-chested man was a bit slow to react and was heavily smashed against the wall. With a thud, he slid down.

Jess got up from the slippery floor and looked back. Gerred's shield had several claw marks, and the edge had cracked. This fall was really hard. He was groaning on the ground, holding his waist.

The bare-chested man was holding his head and muttering something. He also seemed to have been hit hard.

The fate of every ranged attacker is to have to face an opponent that should originally be faced by the entire team alone after all teammates die. This is the case in games, and surprisingly, it is also the case in reality.

But in reality, there is no way to quickly wipe out and start over again. There is no hunter feigning death or knight interference. Only fight until the end.

That black shadow was lowering its head and coughing violently. It shook its head and then raised it again. Its two terrifying ghostly pupils stared at Jess.

Then let's have a duel. A flash of lightning lit up the entire cabin. Jess saw clearly the fur all over its body. The muscles of this monster seemed like intertwined steel bars. A pair of sharp fangs were as long and sharp as those of an ancient saber-toothed tiger. The layers of scars all over its body made its black fur no longer so pure.

Getting up was like a suddenly launched cannonball!

Jess was without fear. He chanted a spell loudly and pointed his long stick at the charging black panther.

"Alinijidulzala, Kana!"

The black panther roared but didn't slow down at all and directly charged!

Did the Weakness Curse not take effect?

Jess quickly dodged to the side with all his strength. However, his arm was still grazed by the black panther's shoulder. He spun around and stumbled against the nearby cabin wall, feeling dizzy.

The black panther didn't lose its combat effectiveness. If he didn't stand up, he would be at the mercy of others. Jess struggled to prop himself up. However, when he looked at the black panther again, that guy was actually crashing into the cabin wall. Presumably, he was even more dizzy than Jess.

Although the fierce beast didn't pass out, it still couldn't get up immediately. Its four paws struggled on the floor for a long time, scratching a large area of marks but still couldn't stand up.

The Weakness Curse must have taken effect. It's just that this guy charged so fast that even if it suddenly lost strength, the impact force brought by inertia wouldn't be weakened much.

Just when Jess thought that the other party had no strength to get up, the black panther suddenly let out a low growl and quickly stretched out its paw and swung it hard at him. Although Jess reacted immediately and backed away, he was still scratched and sat on the floor.

The black panther struggled to get up and wanted to hold on and grab again. Its paw had already been swung out, but it didn't know what had grabbed it. It roared wildly and its paw missed. A gust of wind blew in front of Jess.

The panther turned around. Gerred had already grabbed its tail and was yelling while retreating. The two of them actually started a tug-of-war!

The black panther was indeed affected by the Weakness Curse. Surprisingly, its footing loosened and it was dragged away by Gerred with a whimper!

The black panther turned around and was about to scratch Gerred. Jess shouted at the bare-chested man, "Use the net, use the net!"

He pointed at the ponytail man who had passed out and turned into a bloody mess by the window. The net was still beside him. The bare-chested man roared and immediately ran over to pick up the net. Then he returned to Gerred who was wrestling with the black panther and threw the net over.

"Don't fucking trap me with it..."

While roaring, Gerred got up and dodged outside. The black panther wanted to pounce out again but was already trapped by the net. It let out a low growl and struggled frantically.

Gerred got up and together with the bare-chested man grabbed the net and tightened it. Jess also rushed over to help hold it. After struggling for a while, the black panther was tightly bound.

The black panther let out a weak low growl. But this cry finally turned into a whimper in exhaustion, which didn't match the scars all over its body and its fierce face at all.

"This net can't trap him forever." Gerred panted and said in short bursts, "Think about it. The cage. The lock has been broken by him! He has no strength now. Later, it's hard to say. I'll go up and call them down to help! You watch here! Jess, are you okay?"

Jess shook his head. Gerred nodded and ran up. Only then did he remember that he had just been scratched by a paw.

He immediately touched his waist, chest, and legs that had been scratched. He didn't find any blood or anything. There was only blood from someone else that he didn't know. He had no wounds and no pain.

Probably because the black panther had already been affected by the Weakness Curse. The force of that random scratch wasn't strong.

However, it was more likely because of that cloak.

He pulled the cloak over and looked outside. He saw two whitish claw marks. It turned out that this cloak had protected him!

Larsen really didn't lie to him. This cloak was really extremely sturdy. Even a monster like a smoked fire dragon. Even a dragon sail wouldn't be scratched by a leopard so easily.
