Chapter-7

"I asked you, can't anyone come up with a reward of 2,000 coins?" Cale muttered, glancing at the stingy viewers.

Half an hour had passed, and the rewards had only accumulated to 1,000 coins. Normally, techniques like this would go for at least five figures on the market. Today, since it was his first live stream, he'd given them a discount. Asking for 2,000 coins was already a bargain.

There was no way he'd lower the price further.

**[Brothers, this dog of a streamer looks down on us, come on!]**

**[Let's go, let's go! Only 1,000 coins left to reach the goal!]**

**[Everyone pitch in! With 2,000 coins, we can put this guy in jail.]**

As time went on, more and more viewers started piling into Cale's live stream. Although no one could send a big reward at once, small presents were trickling in. The total rewards were slowly accumulating, inching closer to the 2,000-coin mark.

Suddenly, a virtual Dragonite flew across the screen, causing a commotion.

A new barrage message popped up:

**[The Handsomemest man of Century has rewarded you with a Dragonite.]**

**[Whoa! It's Dragonite!]**

**[Who is this guy? Dropping a Dragonite just like that?]**

**[The name sounds familiar... isn't this Will?]**

**[Holy crap, it's Will! The national tycoon just showed up!]**

**[Seriously rich—one Dragonite costs 30,000 Alliance coins, and he didn't even flinch.]**

The chat instantly shifted direction due to the sudden, high-value reward. More viewers flooded into Cale's stream, drawn by the growing buzz.

**[What kind of live stream is this?]**

**[Pokémon Encyclopedia? Paid Q&A? What's going on here?]**

**[I'm new here—does this guy really know everything about Pokémon?]**

The new viewers were just as skeptical as the first ones but stayed to watch, curious to see if Cale could live up to his claims.

Meanwhile, in a female dormitory at a University, a trainer named jess was chatting with her roommate, who excitedly showed her a stream on her phone.

"Amy, there's a guy live streaming right now, claiming to be a walking Pokémon encyclopedia. Even Will got hooked!"

When Jess saw the stream, she froze for a moment.

"Isn't that the guy who was with that man named Giovanni earlier today?!" she exclaimed, recognizing Cale.

She hadn't expected him to be streaming as well.

"Send me the link!" Jess asked her roommate, intrigued about what Cale was up to.

Across town, lucy, another trainer, was equally stunned when he heard Cale had started a live stream. Lucy had known Cale to be a mysterious figure and never expected him to go public like this. She too, quickly tuned into the stream.

**[Handsomest man Of century: Now that the rewards are enough, tell us how Pikachu can defeat Onix.]**

Will's message popped up on screen. The moment he heard someone had a way for Pikachu to beat Onix, he had instantly rewarded the Dragonite. Now, he wanted answers.

If Cale's explanation satisfied him, he wouldn't mind throwing more rewards. But if Cale was scamming, there would be consequences.

Cale was slightly startled when he saw Will's message. He hadn't expected to reel in such a big fish.

If Century City was the biggest seller of Pokémon supplies, then Will's father's Panda Express was the biggest seller of household goods. There was some rivalry between the two, each trying to enter the other's market.

"Alright, now that the reward target is met, let's talk about how Pikachu can defeat Onix," Cale said, finally addressing the question.

"The reason Onix can beat Pikachu is due to its Ground-type, which makes Electric-type moves ineffective."

"But there's another way for Pikachu to win, besides changing the battlefield."

"The trick is to teach Pikachu **Iron Tail**, a Steel-type move that's strong against Rock-type Pokémon like Onix."

"As long as Pikachu masters Iron Tail, it stands a chance to beat Onix."

Cale explained calmly, detailing how Pikachu's Steel-type move could overcome the type disadvantage.

**[This guy's full of it! Pikachu's Electric-type—how can it learn a Steel-type move?]**

**[Yeah right, let's see Pikachu actually use Iron Tail!]**

**[Sure, sounds nice in theory, but how do you teach Pikachu Iron Tail?]**

**[That's it? That's the big secret?]**

**[I knew it, he's a fraud. Call the cops! Lying to the people like this!]**

**[30,000 Alliance coins for one Dragonite, and this guy's still pulling scams. Jail time, incoming.]**

The live chat exploded with doubts and accusations. Most viewers were skeptical that Pikachu, an Electric-type Pokémon, could learn a Steel-type move like Iron Tail.
