As they remained entwined, a sharp and irritated voice rang in Julian's mind, "Now get the fuck out," it said.
Julian tensed at the tone, instantly recognizing the anger within it. He knew better than to push its limit.
"Dakota, let's go. Someone's unhappy about our presence." Julian said, glancing at Dakota.
Dakota tilted her head, her brows furrowed in confusion. "Who's unhappy?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Julian gave a small smile but remained silent. The oppressive aura in the cavern had intensified, filling the space entirely. The air felt heavy and suffocating.
As they stood to leave, Julian noticed that Aria and the rest of the villagers had already vacated the cavern. He tightened his grip on Dakota's hand, leading her swiftly toward the exit.
Once outside the cavern, we saw Aria and the other villagers standing in a group under the moonlit sky.
