The letter:

Just as Ms. Malhotra got up to see what was wrong, the butler came running to her and said, “Mistress…” he was out of breath. “Mr. Smith take a deep breath and say what happened”, asked Ms. Malhotra. Breathing heavily, he still continued, “Mistress… Mi… miss… We cannot find Miss anywhere in the skyscraper.”

“WHAT?!”, Ms. Malhotra yelled out in shock and stood up. While her two subordinates followed her lead and stood up too while the butler was shivering in fear. Both of the subordinates' expressions were full of bewilderment. Without stopping for a second Ms. Malhotra continued “What do you mean that you all can’t find her? Where is she? Why was she even left alone? And-”, she got interrupted by the young male subordinate. “Ma’am please calm down. Please, we all will definitely find her”. Then the lady subordinate added quickly, “Yes ma’am don’t worry. We will find her. Where can she go? She will be nearby, roaming somewhere. You should stay calm ma’am or else you will have high blood pressure again. And you know right, Miss will get angry after seeing you like that.”

“But she is not here anymore. She RAN AWAY!”, said Ms. Malhotra which almost came like shouting. The dining hall fell into complete silence. And Ms. Malhotra, she could not hold herself anymore and sat down on the sofa brokenly with her tears flowing. The subordinates and the butler went ahead to hold her and place her safely on the sofa. They were worried too. After all Mahikaa was such a sweet girl that no one could dislike her. Ms. Malhotra how her daughter could escape the skyscraper even after the so-called tough security on duty showed how incompetent they were. And her daughter, she did not think of her at all and ran away. With anguish and determination to find her daughter she got up from the sofa and strode towards the door, while saying, “Butler, ask the driver to take out the car”.

The butler quickly nodded and went to call the driver while the subordinates quickly gathered the files and took Ms. Malhotra’s phone with them as she had forgotten about it and went towards the door.

On the way to the skyscraper;

Ms. Malhotra and the lady subordinate, Ms. Nandini, who was a 46 years old lady and had been working for Ms. Malhotra for more than 25 years, they both sat in the back seat while the butler already went to the skyscraper to see what was going on. And in the passenger seat, the male subordinate, Vincent was sitting who was 22 years old and recently joined the company after his father demised.

Throughout the way Ms. Malhotra was crying and wiping her tears while Nandini was trying to console her. But after all she was a mother so she was unable to stop her tears, and started to think something wrong happened to her dear daughter.

Once reaching there, she quickly went to the floor where only her daughter lived. The whole floor was like another luxurious building. The floor marbles were glossier than the other floor’s floor marble, the things which were used to decorate were screaming wealth. The chandelier was so bright. It looked so pretty and gorgeous.

Ms. Malhotra entered the penthouse where her daughter lived and saw that the housekeeper and the other servants were kneeling down and the butler was looking quite angry. Sensing someone came, the Butler turned his head to see her. As soon as he saw her, he went towards her, holding a piece of paper in his hand and extended his hand, to give it to her.

With hesitation and lots of overthinking Ms. Malhotra took the paper and looked at the butler with a questioning gaze. Understanding what she meant, He took a deep breath and asked her to open the paper. Seeing she was opening it, the butler said, “Miss left this letter before leaving.”

What do you guys think will happen next? Will they find their Miss or not?
