Spirit animals

I had troubles calming down on getting upstairs, partly because of the information I had been given in one day.

It was just too much for me to take in. I flung my bag to the side of the room. Digging my hands into my hair, I sit down on my bed helplessly. I find myself confused.

I inhale deeply, sighing out loud. "none of this makes any sense." I say, tucking my hair behind my ear. Standing on my feet, I pace from one corner to another in my room.

"first, the strange lady tells me I'm a... blueblood. Then my grand pa tells me the history and practically the same thing." I mutter.

"I don't know who to believe, the strange lady or my grand father." I say, weighing.

I slam my hand against my reading desk, and a book falls to the floor and a photo slips out. But its turned to the back.

But I pause, on recognizing the figures written on it.

"father's photo." I mutter picking it up.
