His white sweater hung loosely around his shoulders, too big and impossibly soft-looking, like it was made of cloudlight. Paired with off-white trousers and plain sneakers, he looked both grounded and unreal—like something you could reach for and never quite touch.

But it was his hair that caught Hae Jin off guard—short, tidy, and just messy enough to fall gently across his forehead. He looked like a student straight out of a memory, or maybe a dream. Has it always looked like that? Or had he styled it that way after returning to Korea?

Still, he looked exactly like the memory Hae Jin had refused to let go of all these years. Only now… warmer. Brighter. Real.
