Another Doppelgänger?

Ace's hands trembled , he was so shocked that he allowed the girl. The girl took advantage of that and ran away, Ace stood there in shocked.

"You saw her?" Shaka asked.

Shaka and Emtse came beside him.

"Heh Ace! Are you with us?" Emtse asked wondering why Ace was silent and look stunned.

He came back to his senses.

"No…no..I…I have not seen her" he stammered.

The party ended due to what happened. In the crown room remained only the BOROH FAMILY, Ace and Anuba.

"We hold all the dancers and ask them questions and they told us that they didn't know her" Anuba said.

"One said that she wasn't the one that was supposed to be here and effectively, we saw the real blue dressed girl attached in one of the room" Anuba added.

"Do you think that she was send by someone?" Dalilah asked.

"The question now is Who sends her?" Khir asked.

"Even though we have many ennemis but they wouldn't dare of doing it so openly in public" Emtse said

"Anyway we will know it soon, we would consult the gods" Nkumkuma Shamor said.

"I want to thank Ace, if he didn't respond fast their plan will have succeeded" Shamor smiled.

Anuba gazed at Ace. He was the only one that knew the real identity of Ace. The first day that he saw him in the palace he was surprised of him been a warrior, he was supposed to be a slave or dead by now.

He wanted to tell the nkumkuma but he didn't see the necessity of doing that.

Flashback.

Anuba and Ace met at the corridor, they by pass each other but stop moving after by passing.

"What are you doing here?" Anuba asked coldly with a stern look. Ace had the same expression.

"You're the one that brought me here, don't you remember?" Ace said.

Anuba brought Ace to YEMET but he wasn't the one that sold him to the slave seller. He gave the mission to another person to do that.

"You know perfectly of what I'm talking of" Anuba said

"I'm working for your kingdom, aren't you happy?" He said sarcastically

"If you try anything suspicious or try to kill the nkumkuma. I will personally kill you" Anuba threatened

Ace smirked.

"A threaten?"

"Yes!" Anuba said firmly.

"They don't threaten me Anuba, you can get your mouth remove" he said coldly.

"Oh! I want to see it" tension was in the air.

"Pass the message to your friend Garyl , tell him that I'm coming for him" he walked.

"He's not my friend" Anuba uttered and it make Ace to stop again.

"We help him to take control over Irischester because it was beneficial to us. Now, if you want to take revenge of him, it's between him and you. " Anuba said

"It means you wouldn't say anything to the nkumkuma?" Ace asked.

"If you don't try to put Yemet down I don't see the necessity of telling them that you're the prince of Irischester but if you try any negative against us…." He said

Ace smirked and left finally.

Anuba gazed at Ace. What Ace did confirm to him that he didn't have negative intentions against Yemet but what Anuba didn't know was that Ace wanted to personally kill the nkumkuma and his sons.

Meanwhile Ace wasn't listening to one word of their discussion, he was so perplexed of the girl he saw.

"Ace? Ace?" Dalilah called.

"Yes" he flinched.

"Father was thanking you from saving him" Dalilah said with a smile.

"It's nothing nkumkuma, it's my work" he bowed.

"Excuse me , Im tired . I am going to my apartment" he added

"You can go , Ace" the nkumkuma smiled

He turned and left. Dalilah gazed at him, she was worried.

"Is he sick?" Dalilah asked to nobody in particular.

"He's in this state since the girl ran away" Shaka said

In the morning, Ace was up. He was looking through the window, he has not slept all the night. He was thinking of the girl that looked exactly as Amber-ruby.

"She's dead. I saw myself life going out from her. She died in my hands" he said

"It can't be her" he thought.

What make believe Ace that's is not her was because the girl didn't seem to recognize him. In three years that they didn't see each other, if it was amber-ruby she would have jumped on him but she was more preoccupied from escaping them.

Her hairs were cut shortly with the same green eyes meanwhile Amber-ruby had long hairs with green eyes.

"Or… it's another doppelgänger?" Ace questioned his eyes opened widely.

With that, the words of Namaya came in his head.

"Trust the destiny" the voice of Namaya echoed in his head.

What was sure for him was that he needed to see the girl again but the question was how was he going to get the information of who she was.
