Chapter 15 : Mina/Jina - Pain and movie.

"Mina!!"

Maya runs towards me, full of fear and tears.

"Mina! Mina... Please!"

She kneels beside me. My body is completely shattered. My left leg has completely vanished, and on the right, I'm missing my foot. I've also lost an arm, the one I was holding the umbrella with, my right. A part of my right side is slightly missing too. Fortunately, my left side is intact, except for the cracks in my body.

"Mina, your body...!"

Seeing my state, Maya cries with sadness and fear.

"Hahaha... I'm not going to die. With my Doll mask and the mana, I can maintain this state and regenerate."

"But I'm really about to give up and..."

I've started to cry out in pain.

"Maya, it really hurts! Please, do something!"

Mina isn't joking; it hurts extremely bad! Whether it's her or me, this is the first time we've felt such pain!

Once she said that, she ran out of the forest as fast as possible. As for me, I cried a lot. Don't think I'm being a wimp, okay? Having pieces of your body missing hurts terribly! And this is the first time I've felt such pain!

After this, I will never complain about small aches again! I promise! So let me keep my Doll mask to recover my body parts!

"Everything will be alright, my heart, I'll help you get better quickly."

"Ugh! Maya! It hurts!"

"I know, Mina, I know. I'm with you."

To heal me faster, Maya even used the Puppet Gloves to overlay herself with a copy of Poison, who is the fastest of the puppets, even at rank 3.

Once out of the forest, Priestess Althea approached us with templars, light warriors, and other priestesses. Seeing me in this state, Priestess Althea and her companions were surprised by my situation.

"What happened?!"

"We faced a particular undead, but I'll explain later. Mina needs healing!"

"Let us take care of this!"

Priestess Althea and the others healed me, but with such severe injuries, the healing was taking too long.

"I'll leave some priests and priestesses to follow you home to heal her continuously."

Thanks to the healing from divine power, which is the second most powerful healing after life mana and before wood mana, a feeling of relief washed over me, making me drift into sleep.

Nina ran into my room to grab a big, soft blanket with a cute frog pattern.

She chose an action-romance movie, then snuggled up to me, wrapping us in the blanket. With a bowl of popcorn within reach, we watched the movie together.

Thank goodness Nina agreed to watch a movie because I had kept only a small part of my thoughts in my body. All my other thoughts were focused on Mina, to keep the Doll mask in place and activate the mana necessary for her regeneration.

Ugh! The woman in the movie has a gorgeous girlfriend! I'm so jealous!

"You're jealous of the girl, aren't you?"

"How did you know that?!"

Nina laughed, lightly tapping my cheek.

"I know you too well, Jina."

"I didn't know you could be jealous of a woman in a movie."

"Me neither. Even if I am now."

We both burst into laughter. Nina leaned against me during the movie. It really feels nice to have a woman's body against mine.
