APARTMENT

Summer and Nelly's Apartment

Nelly stood in front of the mirror, slipping on her black, sleeveless gown. Its shiny fabric hugged her curves, accentuating her beauty. She twirled, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Pinky, how do I look?" Nelly asked, using her favorite pet name for Summer.

Summer looked up from her book, a warm smile spreading across her face. "You're stunning, Nelly. But aren't you dressing up for a lecture?"

Nelly chuckled mischievously. "Maybe I want to make a statement."

Summer raised an eyebrow. "That dress is perfect for a party, not a lecture. You'll distract the whole class."

Nelly pouted playfully. "Can't I wear it just this once?"

Summer's expression turned firm. "No, Nelly. You can't."

Nelly's face fell, her eyes clouding over. "You don't have to be so harsh, Summer."

Summer immediately regretted her tone. "I'm sorry, Nelly. I just want you to be comfortable and focused in class."

Nelly's smile returned, and she wrapped Summer in a warm hug. "I know, Summer. I just want to feel confident and beautiful today."

a knock at the door interrupted the moment. "Someone's at the door," Summer said.

Nelly, now wearing a singlet and bum shorts, her beautiful hair cascading down her shoulders, called out, "Who is it?"

Summer got up to answer the door, revealing Jed, Nelly's boyfriend, with a surprised expression.

"Jed!" Summer exclaimed.

"Who's there?" Nelly shouted from inside.

"It's Jed," Summer replied.

Nelly's face lit up. "Okay!"

Jed asked if they were done, and Summer invited him in. As he entered, his eyes locked onto Nelly, and he couldn't help but stare.

Nelly, feeling self-conscious, asked, "Why are you both looking at me like that?"

Summer and Jed exchanged glances, and Summer said, "You look stunning, Nelly."

Jed agreed, complimenting her outfit.

Nelly's face brightened with appreciation.

"Are you going to class like that?" Jed asked, raising an eyebrow.

Nelly nodded defiantly. "Of course!"

Summer chuckled at Jed's reaction.

"Why are you laughing?" Jed asked.

Summer grinned. "Your face!"

Jed knelt down, taking Nelly's hands. "No, baby, you can't wear that to class. You'll distract everyone."

Nelly's eyes flashed with anger. "Are you kidding me?"

Jed's expression softened. "I'll be jealous, that's all. You look breathtaking."

Summer packed her bags, sensing the tension between Nelly and Jed. Nelly was visibly upset about their disagreement over her outfit.

"I'm leaving," Summer announced. "I guess you guys know the way to class."

As she headed out, Jed commented, "Some think you should get yours."

Summer turned back, puzzled. "Excuse me, get what?"

Nelly burst into laughter.

Summer asked, "Why are you laughing?"

Nelly chuckled. "Sorry, I'm just joking."

Summer didn't press further. "It's your business," she said and left.

After Summer departed, Jed turned to Nelly. "Are you still mad at me?"

Nelly's expression hinted at unfinished business.

Jed initiated a passionate kiss, lifting Nelly onto the table and wrapping his arms around her waist.

Their intimacy was interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Let me get it," Nelly said.

She opened the door to reveal Reed, a friend of Summer's.

"Hi!" Reed greeted.

"Hello," Nelly replied.

Reed inquired about Summer's whereabouts.

"She just left for class," Nelly said.

Reed asked if Summer was attending class.

"Later," Nelly replied.

Reed bid Nelly farewell.

Nelly closed the door and returned to Jed.

"Who was that?" Jed asked.

"Summer's friend, Reed," Nelly replied.

Nelly urged Jed, "Let's go. We're already late for class."

Hand in hand, they left the hostel and headed to class.
