REFLECTION

Kyle fumed, "Who gave Jed the audacity to touch Kelvin?"

Kingsley listened patiently as Kyle vented.

Later, Kyle asked Kingsley, "How's the bet going? Is Summer falling for you yet?"

Kingsley chuckled. "Not yet."

KYLE pressed, "How's the girl?"

Kingsley reassured, "She's good."

kyle was like "is that all you could say ?"

Kingsley shrugged. "No time for that." He headed to his room to rest.

---

Jed, now recovered, had cut ties with Nelly, ignoring her calls.

In the lecture hall, Kelvin's entrance sparked whispers.

"Kelvin doesn't look well," someone observed.

"Not my business," another shrugged.

A girl squealed, "My crush is here!"

Someone marveled, "Wow, he dyed his hair blue!"

Nelly, however, sat sick and ashamed, her attempts to reach Jed unsuccessful.

"I'm so ashamed of myself," Nelly whispered.

Her roommate, Summer, overheard. "You should be."

Summer wasn't sympathetic. "How could you stoop so low for Kelvin?"

Nelly's tears flowed freely.

Summer left Nelly to cry, exiting the class.

Kingsley noticed Nelly's departure and followed.

"Hey," Kingsley said softly.

Nelly snapped, "What do you want, young man?"

Kingsley smiled. "Don't you smile?"

summer's gaze swept from his head to his toes, leaving Kingsley transfixed.

she hissed at him before turning to leave.

"Gosh, this is really hard" he said and followed her immediately

LECTURE HALL

"Nelly whats wrong?" Reed asked feeling concerned

"mind your business" Nelly said rudely

"just stop being rube Nelly" Reed said to her before leaving the class

---

Jed stood up from his seat and walked straight to Nelly ,

Nelly saw him walking towards her so she adjust her self ready to explain to Jed but on the contrary she received a resounding slap from him,

-- "oh my God"

--"what Jed, is he really a woman beater"

--"i never liked him"

student kept on talking while Jed never felt sorry for slapping his girlfriend he left the lecture hall saying nothing to Nelly meanwhile Nelly was already in tears

Reed rushed in to the hall after hearing students gossips from outside ..he tried raising Nelly's face

"leave me alone!!"Nelly scolded

---

At the school restaurant, Summer sat down and looked around, noticing she was alone. She brought out her phone and became engrossed in it.

Just then, Kingsley walked in and saw her seated alone. "Seriously?" he thought, finding it odd she was by herself.

He chose a different seat, sat down, and began busy himself with his phone. Before long, his eyelids grew heavy, and he dozed off.

Summer glanced up from her phone, noticing Kingsley sleeping. "Oh, he's here again. Doesn't he have something better to do?" she wondered.

As the minutes ticked by, Summer continued scrolling through her phone until it was past 2 PM. "Oh my God, I need to hurry back to class!" she exclaimed, standing up.

As she prepared to leave, she noticed Kingsley still fast asleep. "Gosh, this monster boy!" Summer exclaimed, tossing her sandal at him to rouse him.

Kingsley woke with a start, gazing up at Summer with a mixture of surprise and gratitude. However, Summer didn't linger; she hastily picked up her sandal and rushed out of the school restaurant.

Kingsley berated himself, "I'm so stupid! How could I just sleep off?" He stood up, but his foot slipped on a banana peel, and he fell.

The surrounding students burst into laughter, snapping photos of Kingsley on the floor.

Adjusting his clothes, Kingsley approached his friend and they left to where ever.

Meanwhile, outside the school restaurant, Nelly pleaded with Jed, tears streaming down her face.

"Jed, why can't you just listen to me?" Nelly begged.

Jed and his friends mocked her with cruel laughter.

Red watched from a distance, thinking, "Jed never loved Nelly."

Nelly sobbed uncontrollably, clinging to Jed's legs.

Jed kicked her away, walking off with his friends.

Reed rushed to Nelly's side. "Let's get you to class," he said gently, lifting her onto his back.

In class, students gasped at Nelly's disheveled appearance.

"What happened to her?" someone asked.

Reed explained, "They broke up."

Nelly's classmate whispered, "I knew it would happen. Jed never truly cared for you."

Nelly's eyes widened in shock.

"You knew?" Nelly asked.

Her classmate nodded sympathetically.

"Jed was just using you."

Nelly's tears fell anew.

Nelly's tears fell like rain as she processed her classmate's words.

"You knew?" Nelly repeated, her voice trembling.

Her classmate nodded sympathetically.

"Jade was never serious about you. He just played you."

Nelly's heart sank.

Why didn't she see it sooner?

Reed's gentle touch on her shoulder brought her back.

"Let's focus on your studies, okay?" Reed encouraged.

Nelly nodded, wiping away tears.

But the pain lingered.

Outside, Jed laughed with his friends, carefree.

"No regrets, man," Jed said, shrugging.

His friends chuckled.

Meanwhile, Kingsley nursed his wounded pride.

"That was embarrassing," Kingsley muttered.

His friend chuckled.

"Sleepyhead, indeed."

Kingsley playfully punched his friend.

Summer, still shaken, sat in class.

Why did she throw her sandal at Kingsley?

She couldn't explain.

As the teacher droned on, Summer's mind wandered.

Kingsley's sleepy smile lingered in her thought.

---

At the K3 apartment, Kelvin sat alone, lost in thought. His phone rang, breaking the silence.

The caller ID flashed "KYLE." Kelvin ignored it.

But Kyle wouldn't give up. He called again.

This time, Kingsley joined in, standing beside Kyle.

"Kelvin, open up!" Kyle demanded.

Kelvin reluctantly rose, unlocking the door.

Kyle entered, Kingsley following.

"You've been ignoring me all day," Kyle noted.

Kelvin remained silent, retreating to his room.

"Kelvin, talk to me!" Kyle pleaded.

But Kelvin's door stayed shut.

Kyle turned to Kingsley.

"He's still reeling from what happened."

Kingsley nodded sympathetically.

Later that evening, at Summer's apartment:

Summer packed her books, preparing to leave.

"Where do you think you're going?" Nelly asked.

"The library," Summer replied.

Nelly cautioned, "Be careful."

Summer smiled reassuringly.

As Summer exited, Kingsley approached.

"Hey, don't go," Kingsley said.

Summer paused.

"What is it?" she asked.

"What's your name?" Kingsley inquired.

Summer smiled mischievously.

"Summer."

Kingsley's eyes widened.

Just then, Reed called out.

"Hey, Summer!"

Summer turned, smiling softly.

"Where are you headed?" Reed asked.

"The library," Summer replied.

Reed requested, "Can I join you?"

Summer agreed.

"As long as you read, not sleep."

Reed chuckled.

Kingsley watched, mesmerized.

"Gosh, Summer..." Kingsley whispered.

Red accompanied Summer to the library.

Kingsley trailed behind, lost in thought.

"Her name is Summer..." Kingsley repeated.
