The metallic leaf broach that Rain handed to Miyu and Zora was meant to protect both of them from the poisonous effects of the cultist. The creature was strong as well, so he graced them with a strong reinforcement spell that increased their innate powers instead of providing them with any kind of buff.

Now that there was a strong foundation, the two of them could fight the being with a little less difficulty.

Their fight went on for around ten minutes. They were able to defeat the creature after working together, but in these ten minutes, they had learned one crucial fact: their opponent was not the strongest of the bunch they were supposed to fight here.

"Why the hell was he so Strong?!" Miyu ended up breaking one of her lovely swords. It wasn't her main sword, but she still liked all of her swords, and breaking one of the swords made by some of the greatest creators was no small thing.
