Target of eradication

The magic circle was big enough to be mistaken as the magic of a great mage. 

The magic in this world was still divided into tiers so it was comparably easy to distinguish between two different levels of magic through the complexity and the output of the spell. 

There was a certain amount of variation in each of the spells that the mages use, not all magic was going to be the same as the other's. 

Even if someone was using the same spell, the mana configuration that their spells might possess would always be unique and different from the others. 

Magic, ultimately, was a unique power that one cannot compare with most of the other things. 

Still, in Anovolda, there were few people that could weave as complex a spell circle as the one present above the hill at this moment.

The moving parts of the spell resembled a complex watch movement, a grand complication made by the masterful hands.
