A week had passed, and everyone was getting ready to go to the big party.
Termina: "You have to stay here and take care of the house."
Ella wanted to go to the party, but she had no chance. She decided to go out while no one was home. It was almost sunset, and she had to return home. Disappointed, she was about to head back when suddenly a carriage stopped in front of her. A beautiful woman reached out her hand and said, "Come with me." She smiled beautifully.
The woman took Ella to a mansion. They went to a room full of various dresses.
Ella: "Why did you bring me here?"
The young woman took a dress out of the closet and gave it to Ella: "This should fit you." It was a light blue dress with sparkling sequins.
Ella, surprised and happy, said: "Is this mine?"
The young woman smiled and said: "Our master ordered us to prepare you for tonight's party."
Ella: "May I ask who gave this order?"
The young woman: "You'll find out soon enough." She smiled and took Ella out of the mansion. A carriage was waiting at the door. The young woman ordered that Ella be taken to the palace as soon as possible.
The party had been going on for about an hour, and many guests had gathered. The prince was holding a glass of wine and impatiently looking at his watch.
King: "Have you found someone you want to marry?"
Prince: "I think we should wait a bit longer, Father."
Ella's uncle: "The girls have grown up so fast."
Termina: "Yes, children grow up quickly." She smiled.
Ella's uncle: "So, where is Ella?"
Termina was about to make an excuse when suddenly, Ella appeared before them in a beautiful blue dress.
Ella's uncle: "You look very beautiful tonight."
Termina thought: "Where did she get those clothes?!"
Ella curtsied: "You look beautiful too, Uncle."
Termina looked at Ella with hatred, trying to conceal her anger from the others.
Ella was very nervous, and the crowded room made her even more anxious. Everyone was dancing, and Ella found herself stuck in the middle of the crowd. Suddenly, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her close.
Ella: "You're that guy from yesterday!"
Charming wrapped his arm around Ella's waist to dance with her.
Ella blushed: "I don't know how to dance!"
Charming: "It's okay, I've got you."
Ella, who didn't know how to dance, stepped on Charming's feet a few times.
Ella, embarrassed: "Sorry, I told you I can't dance!"
Charming laughed: "It's alright, let's keep going."
Ella stepped on Charming's feet ten more times. His face winced, but he smiled and said nothing. The song ended, and they took a short break.
Termina: "Why did the prince choose Ella?" She was so angry she was grinding her teeth.
Termina saw that the prince was holding onto Ella and wouldn't let go.
Termina: "This won't do. For my daughters' sake, I have to do something." She trembled as she thought of a wicked plan and laughed.
Ella stood up to walk, but suddenly almost fell.
Charming: "Are you okay?"
Charming gently held Ella, worried about her.
Ella barely stood up and smiled faintly: "It's nothing, I'm just not used to high heels."
Charming, slightly nervous, held Ella's hand firmly and led her to a room to rest.
Ella: "There's no need for this. I can stand for a bit longer." She tried to get up, but her foot hurt, and she fell onto the couch.
Charming frowned: "You should have said something earlier. If I'd known, I wouldn't have made you push yourself so hard."
Ella: "I told you, it's fine. I need to go see the prince." She tried to stand up, but Charming came closer and held her to keep her from getting up.
Ella blushed: "What are you doing?!"
Charming: "You don't even know what the prince looks like, yet you still want to marry him?"
Ella: "You don't understand, this is my last chance to change my life once and for all." She looked a bit sad: "I don't want to go back home anymore. If I marry the prince, I can have a much better life."
Charming felt a bit hurt by her words, and his face fell. Without saying anything, he left.
A man: "If you want me to do something for you, you'll have to pay me more."
Termina: "I'm barely saving money!"
Man: "That's your problem."
Termina, feeling frustrated, decided to pay more to ensure her plan against Ella would succeed. She handed over the money and shook the man's hand, a wicked smile spreading across her face.
Charming had been sitting for a while, watching others dance. He couldn't stop thinking about Ella, so he decided to go see her.
Charming: "What does that girl think about me?" He held his head in his hands.
Ella was a bit worried. She went to look at the stars through the window. She thought: "Could the prince possibly like me?" She sighed and decided she must see the prince no matter what.
Suddenly, a man with a scar over his eye came in and grabbed Ella, throwing her over his shoulder. Ella screamed and struggled with all her might. An idea struck her—she threw off her glass slipper to leave a clue behind.
Charming was walking down the corridor towards the room where Ella was. Suddenly, he heard a scream. He quickly ran to the room and opened the door, finding it empty with the window open. A glass slipper was lying on the floor.
Charming picked up the slipper and examined it closely: "This is hers, the slipper Ella was wearing!"
It was almost midnight. Charming couldn't leave the party. He sat quietly in a corner.
King: "Have you chosen someone?"
Charming wanted to marry Ella no matter what. He showed the glass slipper to the king.
Charming: "I want to marry the owner of this slipper."
The king was happy to hear this. He didn't care who the owner of the slipper was; he just wanted his son to get married.
King: "So, whose slipper is this?"
Charming, with utmost seriousness, said: "The owner of this slipper has been kidnapped, and they are probably far away by now."
The king announced to everyone: "Dear guests. The prince has chosen his bride. This party will soon come to an end. Within a week, the prince's bride will be officially introduced."
People started whispering and looked at the king in astonishment.
Anastasia: "What?! Why don't you introduce her right now?" She fumed.
King: "Alright, I'll postpone it for a week."
Charming, happy: "Thank you, Father. I'll do everything I can to find her within this week!"
