Annihilated

The surroundings were quiet; I could only hear the sound of the wind breeze. I took a deep breath as I was walking past the unknown forest Toshiaki told me. He said that this was the safe route for me to take without anyone from the town trying to attack me. I was grateful for his last help.

"So cold" The wind breeze started to get cooler and cooler. This gave a shiver down my spine. I feel like I could freeze anytime soon.

"I thought so…" Someone threw a fluffy warm coat at me. "See. You'll die without us, you know" Mikhail appeared. I didn't tell her about me leaving them sooner. Did she get the information from Toshiaki? I was startled the moment I saw her.

"Mikhail?!" I shouted.

"Geez! You're loud, yet you can't even say a proper goodbye to us?" She sulked.

I'm scared to say goodbye. That's why…

"S-sorry," I said while holding tightly to my bag.

She sighed then patted my head. "I know a lot is going on through your mind. But please allow yourself to give the proper rest you need, okay? Someday we'll meet again. As a friend and as a family," I almost cried at what she said. I hugged her. Embracing one of the people who accept me is the best.

"See yah" That's the last word I said to Mikhail.

8 hours later, I finally reached the boundaries between Maximuse and the other kingdom. The problem is that this might be a trap. No one was watching over the boundaries of Maximuse. Did they already find out about me? No, It can't be. Toshiaki said that this was the safest route.

I kept worrying and worrying about everything I noticed. Because I know my guts are right. This isn't right. I'm sensing different kinds of danger within this Kingdom. I'm afraid they might be in trouble.

I gave a last glance to the south, where Toshiaki and the others were staying. I thought it's gonna be peaceful.

But the scariest thing happened right before my eyes. The south area where Toshiaki and the others are staying caught in a fire. A bomb explosion was heard in each and every part of the kingdom of Maximuse

It's like there's a war going on. I rushed back to the place in a hurry. It took me 8 hours to leave there, coming back might be too late for me to save them.

I sprinted as fast as I could. And it took me 4 hours to get there. I saw Toshiaki and Mikhail spitting blood, all covered in blood.

I lost my mind the moment I saw not only them on the verge of death. But the kids are already lying on the floor. They are unconscious. I freaked out and I shouted.

"Toshiaki! Mikhail! Everyone!" I shouted. I kept panting, trying to catch all the air I lost in my lungs. My knees started to give up. I want to help them so badly.

"Idiot! Why are you still here? You should not be here!" Toshiaki was panicking as he shouted those words.

A mysterious man in a coat slashed Toshiaki's chest multiple times. After slashing Toshiaki, the man uses some kind of regalith to prevent him from attacking.

"Toshiaki!" I shouted again and again.

I saw how Toshiaki got beaten by an unknown guy. I'm uncomfortable by the aura they're giving off. One of them was very familiar.

After Toshiaki, Mikhail got stabbed in her stomach. Which made her puke a lot of blood.

"No! Mikhail!" I wanted to run and gave her a hand. But I couldn't move. I kept hitting, punching and cursing at my legs, and couldn't move.

What's going on? What happened to them? Why is this happening?

"Now, now, now. How could my little brother cry in front of lowly brats?" A hand travelled through my shoulder, up to my neck.

My eyes widened as I realized who was the person behind me. Before I could move my head, Big Brother Zephyr already caught my neck.

"Ha~ Grabbing your neck is the best" He took off his coat. Revealing who he truly is.

"Let go of him!" Toshiaki shouted. A mysterious man in a coat stopped Toshiaki from shouting and talking by cutting his tongue.

"N-no! S-sto-op! Why are you doing this?" I struggled. I kicked Big Brother's face so that I could free myself from his grip.

"Oh, you're still in your rebellious phase, huh?" My Brother landed a punch at my right Iliac, where my deep wound is. Blood started to come out of the ililiac.

As the blood came out of my right iliac. My tears followed every single drop.

At that moment. Even though Toshiaki couldn't talk because of losing his tongue. I can still feel his anger, grief and sadness mixing.

"It's okay, I'm okay. Don't lose control of yourself. You might not be able to handle your Regalith by overcoming your emotions" I uttered. My voice is trembling, my blood is losing. And I am now dying.

"Toshiaki Onryo. Fancy meeting you again?" My brother released his hands off my neck. Knowing that I cannot move due to the pain I got from him.

He walked towards Toshiaki. He sat and stared at him. Brother didn't utter a single word. But with just a look, Toshiaki lost his mind by screaming intensively.

"Was my brother really that precious to you? Or are you just following your family's duty as a human being in this world? Think wisely, young man" Brother Zephyr laughed loudly.

He looked at me with such a bold look. The look of a man who is thirsty for blood.

"Look, my little brother" He snatched Toshiaki's hair and lifted it up.

"See what I'm going to do to you friend here" My brother grinned as he used a regalith to damage Toshiaki's inside.

"No!" I tried to run to stop him, but I was losing my blood. I'm getting weaker.

My brother laughed at me. "Pathetic, and you call yourself a friend?" Brother released his hand and now finally using his full power to Annihilate everyone from this country, including me, Toshiaki and Mikhail, as well as the kids completely.

"No… No…No" Stop, stop, stop, don't kill them, don't kill them, don't touch Toshiaki, don't touch Toshiaki. Leave them alone, leave them alone.

TOSHIAKI'S P.O.V

Light came out of Nyxius. A crown-looking thing appeared on his head. His black hair turned red, and his eyes lightened up. The surrounding that was on fire was blown by a strong wind

"What's happening? Toshiaki?" Mikhail called me. She's still alive, but her body is very numb.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Seeing Nyxius in a different form shocked him and his brother Zephyr.

"So that's what it is…That's why Mother forbids you from getting out" Nyxius's brother was a little anxious to see Nyxius in a strange form.

"Don't touch them!" Nyxius shouted. Suddenly his voice echoed all over the kingdom. My wounds miraculously healed, even my tongue that was cut off.

"Nyxius…" The regalith power that was holding me captivated worn off. I was impressed. Sometimes, I'm worried. This thing isn't normal. And this could have some consequences.

I tried to walk towards him. But someone stopped me by grabbing my hands. I didn't see him wearing a coat. Maybe he is not part of the people who attacked us.

"I finally caught up…" He said.

"That's what you get for an old man like you" Nyxius's Brother attacked the man beside me. He took Mikhail and me so that we could avoid the attack. He flew in the air, and I was confused. I saw no one of the kids lying on the floor.

"Where did you…—" As we stopped mid-air, we suddenly teleported back to the ground.

"Stay here and watch. Don't do anything that'll cause a lot of trouble. In a minute you could die"

"Wait! At least tell me what happened to him!" I shouted with anger.

"None of your business. But if this goes on, she's gonna Annihilate everyone. Including me, you and himself"
