Chapter 2:

Lin Fan stood, enjoying the first prize he had claimed since being reborn in this world. He savored the benefits that came with immense power—women, fear, and submission. Even her father, who had witnessed Lin Fan taking advantage of her in front of everyone, had not dared to say anything, merely clenching his fists and swallowing his anger.

"You, come here," Lin Fan commanded, gesturing toward Xiao Mi's father.

"Y-yes, young master, what are your orders?" Xiao Ming bowed his head, speaking with respect and fear.

"What is your name?" Lin Fan asked.

"Xiao Ming, young master."

"Very well then, Xiao Ming. Prepare a room for me quickly, and make sure that anyone in your family who has reached the Golden Core Realm or higher is in the meeting hall in three hours." Lin Fan ordered coldly, his tone leaving no room for argument.

"Y-yes, young master. Please, follow me to my family's humble estate." Xiao Ming replied hesitantly. He knew very well what the room was for, but he had no choice but to comply.

He was merely in the ninth level of the Golden Core Realm and the head of a first-rate family. Even his father, the Great Elder of the Xiao family and their strongest member, was only in the second level of the Deep Sky Realm.

Compared to Lin Fan, who had easily defeated the Fourth Elder of the Yu family—a man in the fourth level of the Deep Sky Realm—Lin Fan could annihilate their entire family with little effort.

"Hurry up and lead the way. I can't wait to taste this whore." Lin Fan wrapped his arm around Xiao Mi's waist and smiled lewdly, clearly impatient.

Xiao Mi could only follow along against her will, despair filling her eyes. The mere presence of the Fourth Elder had made her family tremble in fear and obey like dogs, let alone someone even stronger.

'Good, I achieved my goal easily. And I discovered something incredible on my way here. The Heart Demon, which should have been my greatest hindrance in these early stages, has been erased! I don't know how, but the important thing is that I can now act as I wish without worrying about the Ning family!' Lin Fan thought, elated that everything was going in his favor.

'When I return, I'll make myself the patriarch of the family and change its name to Lin. But that can wait for later; I must finish what I started first.'

"Welcome, young master. It is a great honor to host you in our humble home." An elderly man with a powerful aura bowed his head in respect.

He was Xiao Zhan, the Great Elder of the Xiao family and Xiao Mi's grandfather. Upon hearing that Lin Fan was coming to their estate, Xiao Zhan had rushed back and instructed the servants to prepare a luxurious room at once. He had also gathered all the elders of the Xiao family to fulfill Lin Fan's requests.

"Of course it's an honor. Is my room ready? Lead me to it." Lin Fan spoke arrogantly, showing no respect for Xiao Zhan at all.

"Yes, young master, your room is ready. Please, follow me." Xiao Zhan replied respectfully, ignoring Lin Fan's rudeness. In this world, power was everything—without it, you had no respect, no dignity, not even the right to live.

Xiao Zhan obediently led Lin Fan to the room.

"Here is your room, young master. I hope it pleases you and that you enjoy your time in it." Xiao Zhan said respectfully, giving a meaningful look to Xiao Mi, who was drowning in despair.

He had been reluctant to marry her off to the Fourth Elder, despite the man's strength, but in the end, he had reluctantly agreed. However, things were entirely different with Lin Fan—he was far stronger and, more importantly, still young with unimaginable potential. There was a very real chance that he was from a great family as well. If Xiao Mi could make him fall in love with her, it would bring enormous benefits to the Xiao family.

"Of course, I'll enjoy myself plenty." Lin Fan licked his lips as he gazed at Xiao Mi.

Then, he entered the room with her.

"Xiao Mi, before we begin, take this pill," Lin Fan ordered, handing her an ordinary-looking pill.

"W-what does this pill do?" Xiao Mi asked, fear and wariness clear in her voice.

"This pill will guarantee your loyalty to me. Swallow it quickly unless you want to see your family die before your eyes." Lin Fan replied menacingly, revealing the pill's effects without a hint of concern.

In reality, it was just an ordinary first-grade healing pill, but what would allow Lin Fan to control Xiao Mi was the special insects that would spread through her body once she consumed it. The original creator of the pill had added a special component—an insect he had cultivated himself—that would lay its eggs upon ingestion. These insects allowed him to control the body of the person who ate the pill and could also inflict excruciating pain upon them.

"O-okay." Xiao Mi replied, swallowing the pill after much hesitation.

As soon as she consumed the pill, Lin Fan felt satisfied. The thought of having complete control was exhilarating—at any moment, he could cause her pain or make her fully submit to his desires.

"Alright, let's begin..." he said in a low voice, a lewd smile forming on his face.

. . . .

Four hours passed, and Lin Fan finally emerged from the room, feeling relaxed and pleased.

He ordered a servant to lead him to the meeting hall. He was an hour late, but no one had dared to interrupt him. All the elders of the Xiao family had been waiting for him, terrified of his power.

Lin Fan entered the meeting hall confidently, an arrogant smile playing on his lips. The elders of the Xiao family stood in two rows, their heads bowed in a show of respect. A sense of dread filled the room as if time itself had frozen the moment he appeared.

The elders' eyes were full of fear and caution. Ever since they had learned that Lin Fan had defeated an elder from the powerful Yu family, none of them had dared to meet his gaze directly.

"It seems I'm late," Lin Fan said coolly, without a hint of real concern for his tardiness.

"N-no problem, young master. We are here awaiting your orders," the Great Elder Xiao Zhan stammered, while the other elders mustered their courage to show their utmost respect.

There was no protest or complaint about his lateness. They all knew that he was the strongest person here, and with his presence, their lives and status were at stake.
